It is a little aging coney island but the level of the service and food is consistent. I have been dining there for a long time including during the COVID-19 period, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They keep good servers and the atmosphere is genuinely lively.Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the ground level. No steps.

Great experience. I called an order for takeout and I got there and it was hot and ready for pick up! The cashier/waitress was very friendly and cheerful. They have the best gyros and fries. I'll definitely be popping in shortly to grab another take out. It's the perfect dinner when you don't want to deal with a mess and clean up!

Every time we order from them now, they forget something. Today, they forgot an entire sandwich. Usually, they forget dressing or sauce. For the cost of carryout food now, the least they could do is be thorough and make sure everything is in the bag.

What a sign of the times…Ihappen to be in the Troy area Long Lk / Crooks… looking for a place to kill a little time, I stumble on to Crooks and see Kerby’s.I’m thinking I would LOVE to have a breakfast sandwich. They had a breakfast Pita…No…So I order a BLT with a Hard Fried Egg added, easy enough, right?Got my ToGo order jumped in my car and proceeded to pick up my client around the corner. My sandwich is smelling delicious!! I open the container and I’m disappointed that it’s not cut in half, first. If they brought it to my table, I couldn’t imagine it NOT being cut in half, right? Secondly. There Was NO Bacon!!! ??♀️??♀️I paid $6.99 for BLT on Rye and $1.50 for the added Egg… So $9.00 for a Sandwich that they were NOT happy to make for ME!I called and asked for my $$ back…They offered to remake, I declined, Why should I allow them to do that?Buyer Be Ware!!

“Always friendly. Great service.” My review from 5 years ago. The place has really changed. Every waitress I used to have was pleasant, made eye contact, and made me feel at home. Koney island is far from gourmet but the food is comfort and I always tied it to great service and a relaxed environment. My waitress wouldn’t make eye contact with me, went straight to business, after I received my food asked if I was all set, I said yes and she turned around and placed the bill on the table as she walked away. No “thank you” , “have a nice day”... this is such a let down as we have been coming in here since for as long as I can remember living in Troy. I’m not asking for them to be overly pleasant, but be somewhat decent.
