The food continues to be consistently good. Even under stress of having to work well into retirement this family restaurant endures. You owe it to yourself to enjoy the quiet nostalgic atmosphere of the dining room. They outlasted Szechuan Garden. They didn't turn into a nightclub like Mao Jin Lao. It's good humble food from a hole in the wall. That's the best kind.

Love it here! Egg rolls are THE BEST. Mom and son that work here are always friendly and inviting. We come specifically for their service and we always feel at home here. Their dishes are so good and they have a great variety, especially the appetizers! Hope this place stays forever.

This place is very good. Fresh ingredients, quick turn around for pickup, and wonderful flavors. We have gotten food from here many times over the last year. Everything we've gotten is good. Last time I got Mongolian beef which was full of fresh veggies with a hint of spiciness. We also got crab rangoons and always get egg rolls. My kids love the food and it's never spicy which is good for them. Partner likes the abc chicken which is a fan favorite. Can't recommend this place enough. The freshest Chinese food we've had in the area.

Don’t do it! Just awful! Worst service and food, bland and the restaurant has a fowl odor!I wish the owner spent as much time responding to negative reviews, as he did cleaning the restaurant and eliminating the vile odor that is overwhelming as soon as you enter the restaurant.

Post Edit: I appreciate the response and next time I will try a carry out option, and sorry if it sounded harsh towards your establishment, I just was not expecting that kind of service. I would have liked to have had the situation explained in the moment. We were kind of left hanging as to what’s going on. Plus with the food I’d totally get it had I’d known that info but we did feel kinda weird being told not to order an item unless we really want it. It makes me feel like the kitchen doesn’t enjoy making it, it’s just plain not good, or I’m being a hassle to the kitchen by ordering it. I get it though you had 4 people working, leaving about 1 person a position if that. I’ll even admit maybe I did misunderstand the info, but you maintained great customer attention before we ordered, but we never got a two bite check or anything after the order was placed really. We may have even ordered more because of the misunderstanding with additional communication, because we ended up having to order more elsewhere that night. Again I get it I saw you running tables in the dining room alone for the most part. I’m just saying how it went from my perspective dining in compared to elsewhereI’m aware now and again appreciate the response as it sheds light on the night. I hope to update this review sometime in the new year. Hope you stay busy and get some extra help potentially

We have dined in and carried out from this restaurant for many years. The food is always great. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when they're really busy but the wait staff is attentive. Love the inside. The drinks are really good too! Thanks New China for providing us with great tasting food for all these years!!!Parking: Easy to park

The best Chinese Food in the nation. My family has been eating here since the 1980s. I always look forward to a meal here. Shrimp Toast, egg drop soup, egg rolls, and almond boneless chicken are some must haves here. Alice is awesome and has a fantastic place here at The New China.
This is an establishment that has been around for quite a while and it shows. The inside needs updating and re-decorating to bring it more up to date with the competition. The food and service were mediocre to say the least. Portion size and quality of the ingredients could use an upgrade.
