All around great food and service. Don't let the prices scare. Fairly priced for awesome food and service

The best food!

This place got mad at me For not tipping on a pick up order. The waitress visibly was angry and that’s not professional. If I sat down and was served, sure you deserve a tip. But if I’m picking up, why would you expect a tip? What have you done besides make my food? Do I tip McDonald’s workers? No because I’m picking up the food. Figure it out. Not cool

$12 for French toast only, no meat. Three slices of bread. Prices overall seem too high. Server abrupt, in a hurry, despite not being busy.

Food was great, our waitress was really nice. There was a man there who glared at us the entire time we were there, however, that made our experience unpleasant. After we finished our meal, he cleaned our table and that's when we realized he worked there. We weren't making a huge mess but we did have a large family. I found his staring very unsettling. Other than that, our waitress was sweet and our food was enjoyable and filling for all. Would go back.

VERY OVER PRICED

Really liked the food.

I asked the waitress if I can get something else other than fries that comes with the meal, she said onion rings.
I said ok, and I got charged $7.50 for it.

She could’ve and should’ve said it’s going to be a up charge, especially when it’s $7.50.

Our regular breakfast place. Great food, great service.

Everything on the burger was fresh, seasoned perfectly, cooked to perfection. We came for fries but the New York half pound burger was phenomenal!!

It reminded me of Coney Island. Prices were a bit too expensive.

I’ve been a Troy resident for 35 year and frequented New York Burgers and Grill since it opened. It pains me to write this because I used to enjoy going there. The food is still decent but here is the problem. New York Burgers and Grill is a local family diner and a diner should provide decent food at a good value. They do not provide food at a good value. The last time my wife and I ate there we got a medium Greek salad, an omelet with hash browns and a diet coke. The bill was $31.47 plus $6 for a tip. That’s crazy, almost $40 for a salad and omelet breakfast. One more thing is the bill is always confusing to understand what you pay for each item you order. Even though last time we only had three items it was unclear and seemed like they added an extra cost (yes I should have questioned the bill but I looked at my wife and said don’t worry about it, were not coming back anymore.)
