1st time ordering the other day….horrible service, absolutely overpriced and they are cheap with their portions. Will never go back and will wait for them to close!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal from NYC Halal Eats. I had Sea food, with their delicious cheese cake. The price is reasonable. Love the staff and service."

I just want to say that their food used to be amazing! This place was my go-to for a long time. I got the mixed platter the other day after some time and it was nothing like it was before. The meat was slimey and did not taste fresh. The lamb had a funky smell as well. The salad and rice tasted old and even the white sauce tasted different this time. I think they are under new ownership and must’ve changed their standards. It was not worth the money :( I hope they go back to their original standards

The food is very good and they give a lot of food for a good price. Service is very good, however this is not a place you would eat inside of. It is more of a place for take out or to eat at the outside tables.Vegetarian options: Very little vegetarian options basically all veggitarians can get is friesDietary restrictions: They have halal food

The food was not worth the money. Had a Salitos bowl which I would not pay more than $8 for. The chicken had no flavor, the sauce was the only thing flavorful about the meal. The steak bowl had 5 pieces of steak and 5lbs of peppers. I used to like this place but this is the last time I’m being disappointed.

I used to be a loyal patron of NYC Halal Eats until the new owners took over, and now it's a shadow of its former self. The food, once bursting with flavor, now arrives tasteless and uninspired. Even worse, it's consistently served cold, leaving me wondering if they even bother to heat it properly. And to add insult to injury, the prices remain high despite the plummeting quality. It's a shame to see a once-beloved spot decline so drastically under new management. Definitely something I would recommend to my oppositions.

I would NOT recommend going here. My brother brought home some chicken rice “platters” or “bowls” the other day and I was APPALLED. I was genuinely shocked. The portion was so small. Imagine a traditional takeout box with the one bigger divide for rice and the two small divisions for meat, veggies, etc. The platter/combo is only the half divided portion filled. And it’s not even filled all the way. Why am I paying $12-$13 for half a takeout box of rice mixed with chicken and beef?? I felt absolutely scammed. This place has definitely gone downhill. You’re better off finding another place to eat. Almost any place has better portions than here. Trust me.*** please see picture for portion idea plus the picture takeout box is bigger than the one they use.

We got the philly cheese steak and the fries were very soggy and felt very old. The steak was very salty and tested very nasty. The buns were soft and wasn’t tossed well. My stomach was hurting after eating just a little.

Don’t ever go NYC Halal Eats in Troy location. This location is sold by its original owners. Now it’s a franchise…. The food is pathetic… the quantity in the lamb platter was less and they serve rotten tomatoes in the salad…. We lost one of the good halal options in Troy!

We love the food at their franchise in Farmington Hills (especially the saffron rice). Expecting the same we visited Troy one and ordered falafel over rice and salad. The rice was cold and had too much of turmeric smell, fries was cold. Not the same taste, will never visit again.
