The ahi tuna appetizer is excellent. I really liked the grouper and thought it was a very filling portion. My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly, Mixed drinks were well made. Service was excellent. Only negative of the meal was the creamed spinach, which did not have enough bacon or Parmesan cheese. Overall, it was a very nice meal, but we thought everything was priced 20% too high compared to our favorite “high end” restaurant in the area. $20 martinis? Grouper at $58 instead of $40-something, etc., etc. The whole menu is like this,

Wow! All I can say is everyone in this restaurant was amazing and sweet. The food was impeccable! I should’ve taken pictures! It was just so good, I couldn’t wait to eat it. Every single dish we had was absolutely amazing and full of flavor. I highly recommend this location and will definitely revisit.

My cousin had a birthday dinner, the day was super hectic, she reserved a private room. The managers, and servers were absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, and personally the lobster Mac is my favorite ever!! Getting the room set up the staff was wonderful , and extremely nice and helpful. They have the best staff and this restaurant is super accommodating and helpful thank you so much for making the party amazing!

Food and service was amazing. We stretched out courses longer than usual on purpose to enjoy drinks and the atmosphere. Taylor was our sever and was by far the best server we’ve ever had at this restaurant . Waygu was outstanding, lobster was outstanding and all of the sides and apps can’t get better than this place.

Ocean Prime is Cameron Mitchell’s star restaurant, always consistently excellent. Love having drinks in the beautiful bar first, lots of seats and high tops and truffle popcorn is addicting. Excellent menu including sushi, fresh fish and seafood and prime steaks. Our 16oz. Bone-in ribeye was sensational as was the tuna. Sides were hot and tasty. There is now a $8 bread service which is obnoxious considering the prices here. Desserts are sublime. Decent wine list and love that they do decanting service for $25 bottle. Overall, top steakhouse in metro Detroit.
Our waiter Jay was very nice and was always around if we needed anything. He actually should be recommended to management.

Have always loved the food and service but stopped going since they started charging for a bread basket. With dinner and wine over 300 dollars refuse to pay over 10 dollars to have a pretzel roll with my wine or coctail while i study the menu. Will return if they stop charging for bread.

As physically large as the restaurant is, it doesn't seem so once you're inside. The design is nice and the noise level is fairly tempered. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We found the entire staff from valet, hostess, server, bussers, etc to be welcoming and professional. They seem intent on good service and it shows. The food was excellent, well-prepared, nicely presented, and very tasty. The menu offers many items, sides, add-ons, etc., and varied choices that are appealing. We really enjoyed our evening at Ocean Prime.
