Came into town for business and wanted to try Detroit style pizza. Papa Romanos did not disappoint. Greeted me when I walked in very politely, explained the menu, and the service was splendid the entire time.

My wife ordered a large cheese pizza, a desert pizza and cheese bread with sauce and a ranch, which the kids love. We had the food delivered, and it was ok. The wife and kids loved it. I was not particularly hungry, so I had a couple of slices of cheese bread. The problem came in that we did not receive the ranch. My wife called and spoke to someone not sure if it was a manager or not. He said that they do not give credit, the reason the credit thing was asked for was because they said will not be sending the driver back out for just a ranch and what do you want him to do about it. Yes, it is only $1.50, but it was not our mistake, and we paid for delivery of all our food we paid for and tipped the driver. We also live very close so he could have delivered it or the money later on in the evening.The next day, the owner called me and apologized for the way the employee handled the issue and said it was basically a training issue and it would be rectified and he wanted smooth over the mistake in any way he could. I just said add the ranch to our next order, and thank you for addressing the situation. Originally, I rated the service rating a one-star, but since someone reached out to us to address the issue, I bumbed it up to 3 stars. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me.
