Food and service was great
Where do I begin. Stopped there this evening for dinner. Dinner was perfection the service outstanding and the atmosphere although you can’t eat it was a buzz. One of the best experiences dining in a while. Will absolutely return.
The Margie’s here were awesome, now… meh.
The wife and I are serious drinkers and always loved the Margaritas here. We haven’t been back in a while since maybe 2019 and stopped going because the food quality was going down and the prices were going up still, the Margaritas were great, even for $11 which was quite expensive at the time. Now they are $13 and are no better than $5 Margie at a Mexican restaurant. High sour mix and low on the good tequila. The exact opposite of what they were.
Bill and Maria are nice people and have always provided excellent service and great food but I suppose input costs and a slow economy have taken their toll on the bottom line, hence the shrinkflation. I hate to leave them a bad review but, buyer beware.
We were surprised to see no one at the bar on a Saturday night but after our drinks, we figured out why. $32 for two drinks with a tip? It should have been much better. Not a glass full of ice, weak tequila and cheap bottled sour mix. When you finish your Margie and the ice is still up to the rim, you know you just got screwed. Oh, and it was like 84 degrees in the restaurant. I was overheating and not from the alcohol.
Very cool little spot.. The Margaritas have some serious horsepower and the tortilla chips are freshly made and awesome...
Parrot Cove is great! Here's why: it's in an unexpected location, the service and food are really good, it's sincere, and everyone is friendly. It's sort of a Jimmy Buffet themed restaurant. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos, and the portion was large and they were quite good. I've only been here on week nights. Good luck getting in the weekend, because they are often packed....but sincere. Did I mention service is tremendous??? Go here instead of a chain. You will be delighted!
Great food and service. Owners are wonderful too.
Good prices
Huge portions
Extremely friendly service
Burgers and fries were great. Staff very friendly, but they don’t stay open too late.
Service was great for how busy they were on a Friday night! Would recommend the margaritas and the coconut shrimp. I loved the bread basket too! Would not recommend the calamari. The inside is very small so it is loud when busy, but it is cozy!
Margarita almost killed me, tasted like xanaz and pizz
Restaurantji Recommends
Food and service were fine. Atmosphere was so-so ... unless you like Jimmy Buffett, in that case you will probably love it. One visit was enough for us.
Quirky little bar hidden away on Dequindre, but great food and drinks. I highly recommend their corn beef and prime rib (bbq ribs are also good). Great margaritas as well.
Great, cozy atmosphere. Wonderful owners and staff and delicious food! A must try!
We got the lobster bisque which i would recommend, I loved it! It was good I cant wait to go back
Don’t drink more than 2 margaritas!! Holy Cow…. Will be back for their epic Prime Rib. Love the prices
