Ruth's Chris Steak House

The ambience was a little better in the side room. We ordered the porterhouse for two medium, and it came back well done. The waiter did have the manager come over and ask if we wanted another steak it did taste good but they could see when they brought it out that it was well done as the bone was charged. It should've never made it to the table. When you spend that kind of money for food, it is a disappointment and we were with another couple and did not want to wait for another steak to be cooked. The waiter was a nice gentleman, but he either had too many tables or got distracted, easily

As always our service for our party of nine was outstanding! I swear I am a foodie and I go to all the restaurants and try steak because EVERYONE thinks the make the best steak right! No wrong Ruth Chris makes the best steaks I had that 26 oz Bone in Ribeye and it was seasoned and cooked correctly. I didn't even use any A.l sauce and I always normally do wow! I will be back again as always.🥰😍

Ruth's Chris never disappoints. We go here for our special occasions and have always left experiencing great service and fantastic food in a clean and sophisticated environment. In my opinion, the best steak you can get in the Detroit Metro area.

We went for my son‘s 15th birthday yesterday. The service was horrible. The waiter was rude and kept disappearing. We asked about refills of our soda and lemonade and he told us that we had a water carafe on our table. We ordered stuffed chicken and instead of telling us that they were out of the chicken they brought us chicken with melted cheese in a dish on the side and told us that it was our stuffing for the small pieces of chicken. They were out of everything. They only had 8 ounce steaks left and even though two of us ordered the special with the stuffed chicken they up charged us. I am really disappointed.

Our food and service was beyond amazing. I got the $55 3 course special ( Cesar salad, Stuffed Chicken, and creamed spinach) with a Moscow mule. Money well spent 🥰

I recently visited Ruth’s Cris in Troy and had a rather unexpected experience that I feel compelled to share with fellow patrons. While the food was delightful and the ambiance inviting, I encountered a significant issue regarding the restaurant's closing policy that potential diners should be aware of.

If you're enjoying a meal with friends or family and decide to step outside for any reason—whether it's to grab a sweater from your car or take a quick phone call—be cautious if it's after the restaurant's closing time. Even if you've just stepped out for a moment and are still celebrating inside, once the doors are locked, you won't be allowed back in. This policy was not communicated to us in any visible way, nor was it mentioned by the staff.

Imagine savoring dessert or coffee, only to find yourself locked out because you wanted to retrieve something from your vehicle. It can be quite frustrating, especially when you're still in the midst of your dining experience.

For those planning a visit, I recommend keep in mind the new policy . It’s a small but important detail that could impact your evening. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and considers better communication of their policies in the future. Happy dining!

The location offered a great experience food and service wise. We enjoyed our meals and the libations were just fine. Definitely would recommend and return.
