Food was great - ribeye and a tuna mignon! Servers were very friendly and engaging, but not crossing the line of being intrusive. Atmosphere is very romantic, quiet, nice supper club effect.

My steak was perfectly cooked medium well. My cream spinach was delicious. The service was great. When I got home I realized my waitress didn't give us the bread. About overall I enjoyed my time at Ruth Chris.

Great place, service is always above par. Our wait staff went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Steak and shrimp was cooked to perfection. Even threw in an extra dessert for us to take home. Highly recommend this steak house.

Unfortunately the cooks under cooked both steaks our kids ordered. This is probably the second time this has happened in the last year. Is this a sign of the cooks not knowing what they are doing? We have been going to this restaurant for 5 years now and before this year all steaks have been perfect until now this year twice. Not good. I think the lead chef needs to be replaced or needs a good talking to. Plus, for the mistake, we did not get a bill reduction or the meals taken off. Shame on you managers! We brought it to your attention and we just got” better to be under cooked than over cooked”

Terrible food, super over priced. I'm a foodie, I eat at every restaurant there is from Michigan to Florida. I've had food that was 10x better for 1/10th of the price. This place is a joke. It's for people trying to show off who don't know what good food even is. Super limited menu also.

If I could give zero stars I would. This restaurant claims they are “fine dining” and enforce a dress code, which realistically not everyone can follow accurately and of course they cannot stream every single customer that enters wearing jeans, flannels or graphic shirts. I understand that. And from the looks of eating inside there is a lot of casual wear that they allow despite their dress code. Me and my boyfriend had a reservation for 6:15pm under my dad Roy T. on 12/28/24 to meet the rest of my family.

Mind you I am wearing all black, nice quality clothes that are suitable for a night out at a nice restaurant. I wore a leather jacket, black blouse that had lace detailing, black mid length skirt, and black leather ankle boots. Also it is 50ish degrees outside in December which is very rare for Michigan. Immediately upon entering, the hostesses at the front desk to check in do not even welcome us, smile or ask if we had a reservation. So of course I go ahead and tell them I was meeting a party under Roy. There were exactly 3 white older employees, 2 females and 1 male.

Tell me why the older male hostess (tall with white hair) immediately remarks in a rude and demeaning tone “You have to cover up.” I am immediately shocked and I look at my boyfriend like I cannot believe this is happening. My outfit was entirely appropriate as mentioned previously. It was so embarrassing and entirely unprofessional because he just dismissed us and forced us to leave or come back with something different to wear. Mind you my family is already waiting inside for us so we can start eating.

I have never felt so belittled at an establishment before, and for that older male hostess to try to sexualize my outfit by telling me to cover up was so disrespectful and demeaning to hear as a young woman. I’m not stupid, I know that this is a “fine dining” establishment and it is supposed to be a family friendly atmosphere. I would never as a self aware customer show up in attire that is offensive or inappropriate.

Eventually me and my boyfriend drove 20 min back to my house to change and drive the 20 min back to the restaurant. I didn’t get the name of the older male hostess who mistreated me, but I wish I did and I hope management reaches out to me to let me know who that man was and to apologize. It seems like this older male hostess was on a power trip, and didn’t have anything better to do than target younger people.

Safe to say I am never eating here again, and will warn everyone around to stay far away from this place. It’s a shame since the steak is pretty good and the waiters/waitresses are excellent.

hello there

This place never misses. I love coming here and getting a porterhouse for myself and one for my gf. The sweet potato casserole is incredible! Lobster is amazing! Drinks are incredible too. Only thing that sucks is I’ve never spent less than $400 here, but idc it’s worth it. Staff is always amazing!

We came here with a reservation for dinner. First, we tried to use valet parking, but we waited several minutes and no one came to help us. We parked and walked, no big deal. Money saved.

After checking in, 10 minutes early, we were told we would have to wait for a table. We stood in the lobby by the freezing cold door and waited. Slightly irritating.

We were seated. Our server came promptly and started explaining the menu, as we had never been there before. In the middle of her explanation, another server called her over. She abruptly left in the middle of speaking to us. Unprofessional and odd.

She returned. I ordered a cocktail, which was very good. My steak came perfectly cooked and very tender. My husband enjoyed his steak too. The salad was excellent and the mashed potatoes were good, but they were swimming in butter. The whole meal was swimming in butter, except the salad.

We dressed in business attire for our meal, and it felt awkward to be dressed up for an over $200 dinner while some other patrons were wearing jeans and frayed flannel or leggings and t-shirts. I wish there was a dress code.

Our server was attentive and the food was good, but overall we were not wowed by our experience. If I had to sum up Ruth’s Chris in one word it would be this: Butter.

Jenna was amazing. She provided excellent service mixed with small moments of pleasant conversation. Jenna was also well versed with the menu and very attentive to our needs. We didn't have to ask for anything and she was right on top of things.
