Shake Shack Somerset

Food is great but cashier seems to always be in a bad mood.

After a previous disaster at the Shake Shack in Downtown Detroit. We headed over to somerset mall to give Shake Shack another shot and it was absolutely delicious and we were so satisfied with our overall experience. It was definitely worth the drive from Canada.

The restaurant was about to close and the cashier greeted us and welcomed us to place our order and did so very willingly, and it was such a great experience. I truly thought we were gonna be turned away, especially now post Covid service isn’t really that great in a lot of places, but she assured us that it was OK to place our order and we had amazing service placing our order and I really truly appreciate it. It said the servers name was Michele and I hope that, she gets kudos because she really made my night !!

We ordered food they didn’t add the chicken shake went back to ask for it 1 minute past closing said we are closed wouldn’t even make a buyer or let us pay for one rude and terrible customer service and no apology

Burgers were smaller than I remember but man were they GOOD. Had the SmokeShack burger and it was so delicious I have been wanting to go back for another lol. My daughter had the avocado, which I had a bite of, and it was also delicious. Along with the meal we had bacon cheese friends and shakes, just as tasty. Hadn’t had Shake Shack in years but I was not disappointed with this location. Not too mention, they were extremely busy but we didn’t have to wait long for our food to be ready.

Overpriced

If you're looking for order takers who mumble like they're high and give you 4 spoons of melted "custard" over a dirty counter for $6 you're going to love this place.

I ordered a Shack burger, fries and a drink. Fries were okay but the burger was WAY overcooked. The bottom of the pattie was crunchy and burned. Disappointing.

Rudest manager of all time. Argued aggressively over an order of fries. Not doing business at this location any longer. Too many options for this kind of behavior.

Food was mid chicken sandwich small never again.

Pros are that the food is good and service was efficient. We each had a burger and fries with a drink and shake. Everything was correct, hot and ready to eat. I ordered a seasonal shake, maple snickerdoodle - very tasty! Cons are that the mall can get super busy, which obviously means long lines and limited seating in the food court. Although I’ve only been here once, I read a few reviews complaining about the quality, but I thought it was a typical shake shack experience.
