Service was A+ Not having fresh juices from the menu was very disappointing. Meats, salads, soups, lentils, spreads, nd grape leavea were all delicious. BUT, The costly lamb Golaba dish was destroyed. Why? Because it was prepared with Sriracha sauce instead of fresh Thai peppers. Horrible decision. This sauce deleted all other flavors of all the other dishes. Huge mistake to use a vinegar based sauce on Mediterranean food. Cost moderate ($150+ tip for 4) Restaurant is very dated, drab, and furniture is in need of repairs. Tables are set very tightly, but okay. If you order Golaba, don't ask for it to be spicy.

We had the lamb chop combo, cooked medium well. There were 4 pieces, which came with rice and another side dish. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and meaty. We loved it! It also comes with a basket of warm buns.

The second I came in, I shown respect and kindness in a way that you dont really see in other places! They gave me some amazing bread while I was waiting for my food and it was a take out. Food was incredible. I had the hummus chicken platter and it kicked ass. Nothing but love to these guys. Definitely go here for a solid meal.

Wow! My husband and I LOVE this restaurant!! We eat here at least once a week. ❤️ Tonight we got a carry out and everything was perfect! Delicious Chicken Sajij sandwiches and salad. The Food is always Excellent. We have tried many things on the menu and every one was delicious. The People here are friendly, polite, and helpful. Excellent service. The BEST food ever!!! 🥰

Our experience at Shish Island was excellent. The food was fast, hot, plentiful, and delicious. We ordered the spicy hummus (loved with their bread!), a veggie combo plate, chicken ghallaba, and lamb kebab. Would definitely eat here again.

This is a true hidden gem. Started with the veg grape leaves and spicy hummus and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread and garlic sauce. For entree we got the Chicken Kafta and chicken shawarma sandwich. Every single thing was amazing- so juicy, hot, and fresh. I can’t wait to go again to explore more of the menu. Note that the chicken kafta does NOT have peanuts even though the menu says it does, the shish kafta has peanuts.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Starting strong with their bread which is always fresh, hot and pillowy soft. Their garlic dip/sauce is also SO good. I’ve had their Shawarma (both lamb and chicken), and their Starter Combo which has Homous, baba ghannouj & tabbouli. All are delicious!! Their crushed lentil soup is made in house and WOW is all I can say. They even topped off my To Go cup of it when I was checking out. Their service is top notch. Everyone is super friendly and willing to answer whatever questions you have about the menu. I have dined in, and done take out. In both cases the food was fresh, hot and delicious. I definitely recommend checking them out.
