I recently visited Sourdough Ida and was really impressed — this place is a gem. Their sourdough loaves are beautifully crusty on the outside, chewy and tangy inside — exactly the kind of flavor you hope for in an artisan bake. They keep things simple and clean with ingredients, which lets the natural fermentation shine through.
The bakery itself has a cozy, community feel. The staff are warm, helpful, and clearly care about their craft. Their selection is creative too: they offer flavors like jalapeño cheddar or Nutella twists alongside classic loaves.
Bonus: I also tried their cinnamon roll and a cookie both were superb and not overly sweet. Their commitment to quality shows across the board.
If you’re in the area and appreciate real, thoughtfully baked sourdough, Sourdough Ida is absolutely worth checking out.

Great local sourdough and baked goods place. Ordered the cheddar jalapeño sourdough and it was amazing- spicy and cheesy.
Definitely will be back to try their other menu items.

Small quaint bakery. I stopped based on the other 5 star review. The gentleman at the counter was very Personable and engaging. They have a small selection of bakery items, sourdough bread, coffees, tea and bagels. I bought a several items to try. The sourdough bread runs about 12-14 a loaf and some can be sliced. Muffins, cake and other single serve desserts were 5-6 each. Same for a coffee. They sell small breads big enough for 2 ppl I different flavors too. This is geared more towards a couple ppl stopping for a snack and coffee. I didn't see options to buy a whole cake or large amount. Still, we liked everything we tried. Pumpkin cake and the bread were favorites.

Very delicious bread, a true sourdough, nice options. The place is rather small, and when they’re a lot of people, people wait outside.

The absolute best! The bread is so amazing, all of the sweet treats are delectable. You can’t go wrong with anything. My kids love the bread just as much as my husband and I. Love supporting this sweet family and their hard work.
