Only stepped in to buy a certain wine we saw on the Website and 2 glasses.
It was full but pleasant atmosphere.
Your team was helpful and knowledgeable!

I had such a great experience with service and tastings at the Frankenmuth location, that I thought it would be fun to do a tasting with friends in Troy.

I made a big mistake and we will never patronize this establishment again. Upon arrival for our reservation we were not greeted for some time, so we decided to take a seat until staff was ready. There was a large party, so we selected a high top some distance away to minimize the noise. When we started to move a couple chairs to accommodate the four of us, our server finally made her presence known and asked if we were the 2:30PM reservation. She then pointed us to the low top next to the large party and said "That table was set up for you, there is no moving chairs here" (Set up entailed one laminated menu that could easily be moved). We obliged, once the party disassembled it became even louder with the sound of several tables and chairs being moved. Shocking after we were scolded on our way in for moving chairs! Our server disappeared several times for long periods of time without checking on us. To top it off the server would not take both of our tasting Groupons, even though it did not indicate that only one could be used upon purchase and I indicated when I made the reservation that we had GrouponS.

EDIT: I did receive a call from the winery the morning after my review which I do truly appreciate. Whoever reads my review I want them to know this review was based on my one time visit in a St. Julian winery that I have never been to before in Troy. The day after I went back to the Frankenmuth location (the one I usually go to) and they continue to give me the best service and time making me feel like family! One of the employees even still remembers signing me up to the wine club. I truly love this winery.

I wish I could put 0 I always go to the Frankenmuth location and never have been disappointed before until today. Their staff did not serve us for 30 minutes while other tables had multiple cups served to them after the fact. I came all the way from Massachusetts for this because I love how welcoming St. Julian is and it is different from my home state. My significant other and I left because we were being ignored.

I went here for a wine tasting and enjoyed myself overall! Our host was great.

We got a cheese platter that was a little overpriced for what they give you & none of the options included fruit.

Wonderful place to unwind. The customer service was great! The wine tasting is a good way to try different wines. I liked all 6 tastes. Great girls' night. Bae night or alone time place.

2nd time picking up orders as a member of several years and once again the worst customer service (this time it was worth leaving a review because I asked for her name) Reagan gave the worst customer service that would make a member CANCEL the membership. The incoming greeting, the appreciation for being a member, the pickup for paid bottles, the lack of knowledge was worth ZERO stars…

I attempted to use my purchased Groupon on May 25 at the St Julian Troy location. Upon arriving there was a sign posted on the door that stated only one Groupon would be honored and accepted per group. I even spoke with the manager and she reconfirmed this “policy” that was nowhere listed on the website prior to arriving. I am truly upset that I wasted my money and purchased a Groupon that wasn’t even redeemed nor accepted upon arriving at the establishment. If a location has the right to use discretion and not accept a Groupon based on the group size than that should clearly be listed as a pre warning in the fine print! the Manager even went as far as saying that in order for everyone in my party to redeem their Groupon, we would have to sit separately and not together. which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! There was 5 people that were in my group, each purchased a Groupon for 1. I am highly upset and will not be visiting this establishment again. I now have a Groupon that was not redeemed, I have no intentions on returning. my review of this experience will be submitted to multiple platforms. Not very pleased as my first visit.

I have been a member for almost a year now. I've been to this tasting room plenty of times, but the last couple the customer service was lacking. I can't recall the last time that I was greeted. Kristen is amazing even when it's busy, but the other girls aren't as attentive. Especially the one with the two toned hair. She's never friendly, but I'm unsure of her name. I took my friend and her mom for mother's day yesterday and of course it was busy. We sat for about an half an hour before my friend's mom grabbed the attention of Carrie. She was very apologetic for passing us so many times, but she wasn't the one who handed us menus anyway, so it wasn't really all on her. I've been other days that weren't holidays and my table had been forgotten. About two weeks ago I went up to the bar to cash out because no one came back, and the lady told me to go back to the table and someone would be over. I refused because I had been waiting for a long time just sitting with empty glasses. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, but it makes me sad that I've recommended this location to others.

I've been ordering wine from St Julian to Florida for years now. Imagine my surprise to find this location close to where I was staying in Michigan for a work trip! Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed to walk in and not be greeted or told to sit anywhere. Once it was established that we could pick our seats, no one explained how the wine tasting works to us. A woman seated nearby explained it, thankfully. The atmosphere just didn't seem very welcoming and made us a bit uncomfortable.

I recently went in to enjoy a tasting and it was great. I always appreciate suggestions and knowing which wines are new on the tasting menu. The young lady who worked with us gave really great suggestions she helped me narrow down my choices. They seem to be creating more themed cocktails and more events. I am looking forward to stopping in during upcoming events.

Absolutely love this place! Went here for a small social event I participate in with family and friends in November and I’ve probably been back over a dozen times since then. I got the membership which I love. It’s a great deal and tbh I wasn’t really a fan of the first wines I received with my membership but I was able to switch them out which is nice. I love doing the wine tasting it’s a great activity to relax and taste some great wines. Most of the wines I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot) have been very tasty and I’m always leaving with a new bottle. Service always Varys I’ve had some subpar service but excellent service as well just kinda depends. With that being said overall I love St Julian.
