We had a wonderful meal and experience at Grand Tavern! The menu has a lot of classics and some newer twists on various dishes. The food is really good (especially for the cost) and we were a relatively large group of 7, so we had a number of items from the menu. To top it all off we had the best service from our waitress Mimi! She made great recommendations when we asked about various dishes and treated us like we were at a $$$$ restaurant, unused plates were removed promptly to make space, while she was inviting and made us feel like we could relax and enjoy our meal.
Our meals were delicious. The lamb chops were insane delicious. Salmon was cooked to perfection.
Have been here twice and the food has always been good. I enjoy the variety of salads they offer. Will return to try more
The food and service were good. About what you'd expect from a chain restaurant - nothing outstanding and nothing negative. The food prices were very reasonable, which would bring me back.
Great food and service with lots of vegetarian options. Good prices and a robust happy hour. Love this place.
It was my first time having brunch at the Grand Tavern-Troy and it did not disappoint. Everything i tried was good and I got a little of everything. I went with my cousin and we're talking about having our next family gathering there.
We had a great time. The server was very accommodating. Food was delicious, we all enjoyed
We had the buffet. The food was always being refilled before the dish was empty. The buffet tables were kept clean. Elvis, who made the omelettes and crepes was friendly. The food was very good and our server, also named Elvis, was very good. We will be back again.
Been here several times and this was by far the worst experienced we've had there. It seems like the recipes changed. The bbq chicken salad had chicken that was swimming in BBQ sauce. Once the ranch was added stirred in; the whole thing was soupy. My kids food was terrible. I had the beef short ribs and the sauce was bland. Definitely not a Cabernet sauce. Very disappointed and don't know if we'll be back
My family and I went for brunch and really enjoyed the variety of food options on the buffet. We will definitely visit again.

The food was excellent and we did not have to wait long at all. Very reasonably priced and had yummy leftovers to boot! Our server, Anya was really friendly, accommodating and attentive.
The food was FANTASTIC!! We had completely different food choices and each offering was absolutely amazing. Service was great and Eddie treated us like royalty! Highly recommend!
Very good. Reasonably priced food & attentive service. Manager came around to thank us for the business. Haven't had that happen lately unless in a more expensive restaurant. This is a go to restaurant with a menu for everyone's liking.
The Happy Hour prices and selections were outstanding, as was our service. We will definitely return.
We asked to be seated on the back covered patio so that we could hear each other better. The food was very good - everyone enjoyed their food. The kitchen made one mistake on the order, which was corrected promptly. The waiter was polite and attentive, but did not hover. If you like fish, I recommend the pecan encrusted whitefish with a lemon creamy sauce. Note that the side vegetables seemed to be steamed frozen vegetables rather than fresh vegetables.
