We asked to be seated on the back covered patio so that we could hear each other better. The food was very good - everyone enjoyed their food. The kitchen made one mistake on the order, which was corrected promptly. The waiter was polite and attentive, but did not hover. If you like fish, I recommend the pecan encrusted whitefish with a lemon creamy sauce. Note that the side vegetables seemed to be steamed frozen vegetables rather than fresh vegetables.
Had a lovely meal with excellent service! The portions were generous, the crab cakes were superb, and the salad was fresh and delicious.
After my previous two experiences recently, I was not sure I would be coming back, but as of this visit I am glad to say things were back to their great self!!
Going to Grand Tavern was amazingly wonderful. We made reservations, when we arrived we were immediately seated, no waiting, we were able to order right away with the friendliest waitress. As we received our meal the host / manager came over (Eddie), he wanted to know how was our meal what could he do to help our meal be pleasant but everything was beautiful, plenty of food, he laughed with us talked with us and paid for our lemonade. Nobody does this anymore he was very personal and concerned. We all left pleasantly happy, planning to return soon and with a larger party. Nobody has been able to top them since the pandemic has ended. We will be going back soon. The entire staff was great with excellent service, cleanliness, friendly, we purposely watched because we're sick of poor service bad food and high prices for very little food. Grand Tavern super exceeded all the negatives we have witnessed. Go Grand Tavern and Eddie you guys rock.
Never again on Father's Day!! They jacked the brunch Buffet price to nearly double the normal price (from $25 to $40 pp), I wasn't informed of this until 2-3 days before my reservation, plus you could only order the brunch buffet that day and nothing else! Wasn't told that beforehand either, otherwise I would have canceled. They barely could keep the food coming out in a timely manner and it wasn't that crowded! I've been here before and had a great experience; brought my family this time as was totally disappointed. Wasn't worth the drive or the cost.
Great selection of food and the service was excellent. Went at lunchtime with a group of six and we had no trouble hearing each other. The perch was delicious and I'm looking forward to trying other selections.
Great experience. Food and service are always excellent when we attend Grand Tavern. Would highly recommend
Mother's Day Brunch was a disaster. Capacity had to be reached almost twice. Had a 1:30 reservation and didn't get a seat until after 2pm not to mention the line to eat was wrapped around the the inside of the building. Horrible experience for our (My wife, kid, and myself) first experience. Especially at $100 plus dollars. Thank you but no thank you!
Server ghosted us half way through meal as they were serving a big party. There was other wait staff standing around - went to them to inquire on server status - one came over and assisted, another finally brought our bills. Then another long wait for to be able to pay our bills to leave. Server should have turned our table over to another server when duties started with large group. Food was delicious and plentiful.
the wait staff was slow and we waiting on our drinks and they kept forgetting to refill my drink

Our group has dinner here monthly. We get great service and they do not mind preparing separate checks. At this dinner we noticed that the salads have been reduced in size, but still good.
When making reservations that never said Easter was a buffet no menu . The food wasnt kept fresh, or even replaced at all. Very cold and un tasteful. The waiters were very nice an helpful.
Beautiful and delicious Easter Sunday brunch with an attentive waitress, Natalie, who was friendly and funny along with her co-workers. Highly recommend!
I took my adult kids for Easter Brunch. We were seated right away, however the line for the buffet was absolutely ridiculous. We waited in line for at least 40 minutes, all while hovering over other tables of folks trying enjoy their meal. The line was wrapped around the restaurant. We were constantly having to get out of the way for the wait staff, and diners trying to get back to their table with their food. Fortunately the food was good, but over-packing the restaurant made it a horrible experience.
Went for Easter brunch and lines for Buffett were ridiculously long. I think they over booked, wait time standing in Buffett over 30 minutes. Would not go back on days when serve buffet.
