Why is it $2 to add avocado to a 6 inch sub?

heres my multiple reviews from me and my colleagues though i no longer work here id thought id leave a review.

Regular Customer
I used to come to this Subway regularly, but lately Mary has made it hard to even want to walk in. She’s rude, unapproachable, and always seems angry. I’ve seen her roll her eyes at customers, talk down to them, and act like it’s a problem just to take an order.Subway is supposed to be fast, friendly, and consistent not a place where you feel judged or disrespected. I now go out of my way to avoid this location if she’s working. The rest of the team is great, but Mary’s attitude ruins the whole vibe.

Another Walmart Associate
As someone who also works in the same Walmart, it’s honestly frustrating dealing with Mary. Most Subway workers are cool and professional, but she acts like she’s above everyone. She disrespects Walmart employees regularly and treats us like we’re a bother just for ordering lunch on our break.
It’s embarrassing and uncomfortable, especially when we’re just trying to grab food quickly. Multiple coworkers have had bad experiences with her too. If this keeps up, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Parent with Kids
I brought my kids in for a quick meal and couldn’t believe how nasty Mary was with the customers in front of us. She was short-tempered, visibly irritated, and practically threw their food together. When it was our turn, I tried to be extra polite to lighten the mood, but she gave me the same cold attitude.
My kids even asked, “Why is she so mad?” that’s how obvious it was. This location used to be a nice stop during shopping trips, but now it’s unpredictable depending on who’s working. Mary really brings the energy down.
Mary is a BIG problem for subway!!! suggesting you guys get rid of her before the bigger swarm of negative reviews come.

Rouge Lavore

Mary at this Subway location has made the dining experience extremely uncomfortable on more than one occasion. I’ve witnessed her speaking rudely to multiple customers, often acting like she’s annoyed just to be there. She talks down to people, cuts them off mid-sentence, and has no patience or professionalism.A friend of mine was even threatened and banned by her after she escalated a minor misunderstanding. Instead of de-escalating or treating the situation with care, Mary reacted aggressively and made things worse. That kind of behavior doesn’t belong in any workplace, especially one that serves the public.
It’s really unfortunate because the rest of the staff especially Jessica, Cindy, and Skylar have always been respectful and kind. Mary is the clear outlier and should not be representing the brand.

Worst experience ever. Ordered online pizza around 8.30 pm, order got placed and upon reaching there staff said we are out of pizza. We asked for order cancellation, they said it cant be done in store you have to go online. And there is Not a single option online to get refund or to file a complaint. Still managed to send details and asked for refund. There is no answer from subway, staff doesn't entertain and my money is gone for nothing.
Worst costumer service. Never order online.

Ordered 6" Turkey which was attempted to be prepared by Melissa. Her forte: 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, 2-3 leaves of lettuce and spinach, 1 slice of turkey. Asked her to add more veggies and she had a cheeky response: "Why do you want veggies - that's plenty? Take it or leave it. "The owners haven't trained her well enough: She should have added NO veggie voluntarily per her training. Retrain her.She works at the other Subway in the strip and is perpetually talking ill, shamelessly, about customers.Next time I see her at the Walmart, I will go to the other Subway in the same strip. Staying away from her.Does she think she own the store lol?

Today I bought my daughter a icee ( slush) from this location and the slush tasted spoiled I drink some of my baby’s slush as free she drunk it and I was horrified because that means that machine is not clean I called them to let them know and no one answered so I will make a stop up there to let them know and I’m taking my baby to the doctor to make sure she’s ok. It’s a horrible place and they need to be shut down

Subway why are your employees closing the stores 45 minutes prior to close time listed on the door and as advertised online. Your employees do not answer the phone to verify hrs. As a customer for yrs I'll be skipping all your subway stores in the Detroit metro area because its just not worth the hassle
