I have never had a bad meal at Capital Grille. Food, service and ambiance is always 5/5 here. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, they have a dress code but that is what makes it special. The care they go to to make sure you have an exceptional dining experience puts them above most other restaurants. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they usually have multiple daily specials. Aside from dinner we have been here for Easter and Mother's Day brunch as well. I highly recommend the lonster frittata if you come for brunch, it is excellent. You can't go wrong with their scallops or any cut of steak here. If you enjoy cocktails, they make the best espresso martini around.

Best steak! Had the filet, very good shrimp app and oysters with the sauces out of this world. Second time coming on easter in my life, service was still very good even on a holiday thank you. Always leave a fat tip on a holiday!!!!
Pleasant experience, top notch customer service, great menu and tasting food. The steaks are also consistently the same. You know what you're getting. It won't be cooked amazing one time and messed up the next.

Walked in and wasn’t greeted just was asked if we had reservations. We didn’t know we needed it which wasn’t the issue but the hostess ( a older guy ) said we needed one and we said okay and we proceeded to leave and he smacked his lips and looked us up and down.’we didn’t feel comfortable so we left . Very rude and upsetting since it was my birthday. Never again.

We had just gotten married & had visited their location in Minneapolis last year for our engagement. Nora set this location apart from the one in Minneapolis. She was awesome, very attentive & consistently checked in on our party throughout our time in Troy. The food was delicious but her customer service was better. This will be our special place to celebrate going forward.
