The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill & Catering - Troy, MI

I was in the mood for greek cuisine and my girlfriend thought of this place cause she's been here before. First impressions was that this place looked like a basic fast casual dining restaurant, I ordered the food at the kiosk and we sat down. The food took a few minutes, the hummus was delicious and well seasoned and very flavorful and thats where the praise stops. The gyro was average, it was filling but the meat wasn't very hot or fresh and also very thin, the pita bread was basic. The fries tasted like they were air fried from being frozen. She got the rice on the side which was very lackluster. The only word to describe this place is average. I probably wont be back, especially when I compare it to much better greek places I've been, I get disappointed and for the pricing its not worth it.

My all time favorite chicken lemon rice soup. I come here all the time for it! It’s unbeatable. Such a great atmosphere and nice service! Love this place!

I came here over a year ago horrible experience with horrible rude staff but now I came today much better experience I believe they got new staff so that is a live saver

Pretty good food and service. Got served within a reasonable time, especially considering the amount of people that we had. My only complaint was the atmosphere it seemed a little dead but overall not too bad

Chrissy was very helpful and asked all the proper follow up questions for my food order. There are self ordering kiosks if you don't want to wait in line, and it smells fantastic when you walk in! Best gyro in the area!

From one Greek to others......this place is worth the visit. Owners and staff are friendly and inviting. Food is top notch. Extensive menu from salads to steaks and every greek dish in between. Has a salad and lemon chicken. Everything was freshly made, including the Taziki. The salads were large and full of chicken. The lemon sauce on the chicken kabob was full of flavor. Looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu. I carried out, but the atmophere was very welcoming and inviting.
