Ordered delivery and the third-party driver never showed up. When I called the cafe, the owner personally offered to bring the pizza himself. He delivered it, apologized and even refunded the order. Really appreciated the way they handled the situation - that level of customer service goes a long way. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was amazing. Ordered the green machine omelette and it was the best ever! The service was excellent. Friendly, professional, and on time server.

If it wasn't for having ok service, then this place would get 1 star. 1st the coffee was equivalent to Nescafé for $5. The only good thing was the waitress never offered to fill it up. Also my friends who recommended this place don't drink coffee, so if they did, that probably wouldn't have recommended it. 2nd the French toast we ordered looked marvelous, but it tasted like toast with fruit (no egg, so remove the word 'French' from the menu). Thankfully the omelette we ordered was delicious. 3rd the atmosphere was closer to a bland sports bar, then breakfast- lunch place. Only mindless individuals look at full sports reruns at 9AM. At least put on local news.

The food was amazing and the service was top tier. My only issue is was we had a party of 8 and we were sat at table that was built for 6. I know expansion isn't possible, but the building needs to be bigger.

You’ve got to go to this cafe in Downtown Detroit. I had the absolute pleasure of dining there on my recent vacation in Detroit. The food was amazing, service super attentive and so warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and I look back on my multiple visits over the 2 weeks in Jan ‘26 that I ate with family.
Keep being amazing and can’t wait to see you all again when I’m next in da ‘D

There is no parking lot. I would say that this place is Coney Island with higher prices.

Had a great time this morning at the Troy location. Been to the Detroit location last year for my bday & it worked my nerves with All them people! & something make me sick at that location in the food ..
on the contrast, The Troy location was my speed!! Omg JOHN, my bartender & server was so catering & sweet! Just a good guy with great energy !! Had fun & will be back . Macy was nice too! Everyone had a 😊 smile !!!

My chicken was seaon nasty fried to fast outside looked burnt the inside was raw red frozen a bit i can hardly bite it its very nasty terrible mt chicken lool like it was cook in old oil back in the 90 when folks didnt have money to purchase fresh grease the tatse is all garlic powder i dont tatse a good flavor at all my breath tatse and smell like i ate a thing of garlic powder my chicken is so red pink i can small the bird from the chieck like its still raw im so disgusted then by the fryer being up to high or whatever the chicken look like it was left in to long so i was terrified

Our food was absolutely delicious I had the chicken and waffles with a side of potatoes and my brother had an omelette. Our waitress was very nice and she even recommended us a drink that was really good. I only mentioned that it was my brother's birthday and she took it upon herself to bring out a birthday dessert for him. It was a really nice surprise. It really made his day. It was really crowded I would suggest making a reservation.
