I treated my daughter for her 17th birthday, she has always wanted to try Korean street food and really wanted a specific thing from the menu which was the corn dogs ……corn dogs have been “taken off” the menu as of “2 weeks ago” per the waitress. Corn dogs were the primary reason she wanted to try it. We were forced to take the hot pot, and it was decent, some of the fried bar food was sitting out too long, much of it was hard and inedible. The flies were flying 😳……and my waitress seemed to forget about us after a certain point, I had to walk up to the host counter to let her know I was ready to pay. Overall a lackluster experience, I truly expected more and so did the my daughter, the birthday girl…..sadly, I do not think we will be back.
OMGGGGG! The place is just so much fun and so delicious! The welcoming and fun crew was welcoming and detailed in explaining what to do with personal recommendations and tips—which really helped to put first timers like me at ease. My only regret is not having the appetite of a starving teenager so I could eat EVERYTHING. Will definitely go back when I can.
Wonderful experience and super kind staff
I love that they allow you to change the bowls in the middle, allowing vegetarian or vegans to be able to dine with their friends and not force everyone to eat vegetarian and/or vegan! I had such a great experience as vegetarian and although I wish they had more hot/fast food vegetarian options, the topokki makes up for the lack of it!
Food was not good and for 25$ I really not find only it’s too expensive to eat from

Enjoyed it all. Did not even get to the fried food. Was too busy cooking on the table. Definitely recommend
This is a lovely taste of Korea! Very authentic food and a chill K-Pop vibe with 1 tv playing a street cam/video of Seoul. Absolutely wonderful staff ready to help. Family-friendly but classy, too. We loved this place. (Just watch out for the big pothole if you're turning in from the John R entrance.)
Went here tonight and really enjoyed it! I think the only thing that would make it better is if we could each have our own pots since the person i went with does not eat meat. Overall fun and delicious.
Very poor experience in this newly opened restaurant.
Our family went to this restaurant for dinner right before Mother's day. We waited for an hour to get a table. After we sat down, no server showed up. There were 2 stainless water bottles with no labels sitting on the table. We thought it was water and drunk it. It was broth for the pot! The server did not explain well how the food was served. The server did not come to our table when the pot was dried up and more broth should be provided. No prompt water refill either. The server did not come to our table to remove the used plates and bowls as often as it should be. At the end, we were unable to find the server when we wanted to get our bill. We had to walk to the front to pay. The server also did not make me aware that ice cream was available to customers. It was a very confusing, disappointing, and bad dining experience, especially for our special Mother's day dinner.
The food selection was very limited. There was only one kind of sliced meat which was very fatty and poor quality beef. Basically, they have different dry seasoning mix for you to add broth into it and then boil rice cake, noodles, vegetable, meat... lots of carbs. Just like eating ramen with more stuffs.
Another concern was that it was not clean. The plates on the buffet table were wet. The water cups on our table had water inside before we used them. Don't know if they were washed and dried properly. I have never seen a restaurant as disorganized and unprofessional as this one.
This is my first and last visit in this restaurant because of poor service and limited food selection. Do not recommend it.
Everything was amazing ! Owner is very kind and Munni was an absolute sweetheart she was so very helpful and answered all our questions! Definitely will be coming back food was delicious beware not to get it too spicy however i love the fact that if u do make it too spicy u can always adjust it by adding broth and if its not seasoned to ur liking u can add more seasoning its very fun to do. the sides were delicious too. They also have Halal options !

munni was very helpful, very attentive and kind, all other staff was also checking up and making sure everything was good, food was amazing definitely coming again
Almost everything about the restaurant was good. The only thing I didn't like was that most of the spices had a sweetness that I wasn't looking for.
Thank you munni for the great experience !
5 stars for the service! Absolutely amazing. This is our first time trying topokki and the staff walked us through very carefully. I wish they put some labels on the water and the broth so we can aware. They have a big selection with the uncooked ingredients for the pot, very vegan friendly in my opinion. I wish the hot food could be better with wider options.
Overall this place is amazing! I’ll definitely come back.
