Had the opportunity to spend 4 weeks in Trufant and really enjoyed being part of the community. La Cocina was a frequent haunt especially during happy hour with the house frozen margaritas being spot on and enjoyed regularly. Loved the service and missing La Cocina and Trufant.
We heard good things about LaCocina and we finally made it over to Trufant on a Sat night. It was a nice, small town Mexican Grill. Part of the dining area is right next to the bar, space was tight, but acceptable, abit to noisy for my liking however. Our server was excellent and made sure everything was to our liking. Very casual atmosphere with absolutely amazing food. I was definitely taken by surprise by the cuisine in this small town, but I will certainly be back now that I know how great it is! ?
