We love the antiques and decor. The food is comfort home style. Large portions and served with warm service. Small town dinner appeal. Food like Grandma made. Best biscuits and gravy around.
Mel's 50's Diner is just that: a 1950's-themed American diner. Good food, good service, and a bunch of guys sitting and talking. I enjoyed a very pleasant Monday morning breakfast (Western omelet - $7)
The food is okay. But very expensive for what you get and the quality.
Kid-friendliness: They do offer a kids menu.
Parking: There is a parking lot next door. And parking out front.
