“Stopped into Mel's Diner today and what a Gem! I got a doube cheese burger and onion rings. You know when an onionring is on point? when you take a bite into it and you don't pull the onion out on the first bite. Every onionring was cooked perfect! Great burger too! Brenda (the owner) is the best around hands down! If you are in the Union City MI area you have to stop in and get some food! We will be back for sure!”

“I have ordered catering from this subway for going on year number 4 now always this time of the year for various school parties for my grandchildren starting with preschool and there all in elementary now. This is the first time I have done 3 classrooms at once and sorry to say without ample notice, and I must say they knocked it out of the park! Ms S. And Ms K were phenomenal and spot on with the needs of the different classrooms and I was blowened away on how they had each of them ready. All 3 classes were be on greatful and all the children were so excited! You have 2 very awesome employees there and I will be back for my 5th order hopefully before school ends this year!Thank you”

“Is this still owned by the Penrod family? Wanda and her husband were great friends of my grandparents who lived nearby on Pilot's Knob/Cemetary Lake. When My grandfather died in '87, they let my out of state family stay in cabins for free to attend the funeral. I have not been back in Coldwater, MI since then. I know the Penrod's were wonderful people. I was in Coldwater on average once a month growing up at my grandparents cottage and I have so many fond memories of that little on the water place.”

“Omar's, what a great bar. A very comfortable atmosphere from the moment I stepped foot into the bar. Definately a local place that maybe only locals know about as no signage outside advertising the establishment. Played keno for the first time with our small group and ended up winning $72. Now that was beginners luck and I'm hooked.”
