We haven’t actually eaten here yet, although we are very excited to. I wanted to post here because I ran into the owner today (literally, actually hit him with a door) and he was such a kind and awesome person. Look forward to eating here in the future!
AMAZING food! Came for dinner with two friends on a girls’ trip. We all got something different and shared. Everything was amazing!!! Our meal was a great experience for the taste buds! No complaints!
An ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE if anywhere close - or not (it is a drive worth having)!
The South American fare, from tapas to entrées and places in between, is incredible and richly inspired by, and true to, any of the localities their plates represent.

Tapa Taco is a quiet, intimate restaurant located within the Gordon Beach Inn. This family-run establishment is known for its excellent service, courtesy, and efficiency. The food is delicious and well-prepared, with standout dishes including the bang bang shrimp, carbonara, lobster bisque, pan de yuca, ropa vieja, empanadas, and yapingacho. The chef takes pride in his culinary creations, which also feature the incredible House Paella, Argentine Steak, and Tres Leches cake. The staff are friendly and attentive to guests' needs. On Tuesdays, the restaurant offers all-you-can-eat soft shell tacos with a variety of vegetarian and meat options, all fresh and delicious. Tapa Taco provides a great experience whether dining with family or as a couple, and it has dog-friendly tables right off the Inn lobby. Guests can also enjoy a great selection of beers, wines, and creative cocktails, along with impressive margaritas and guacamole. The restaurant is a convenient and tasty choice close to the beach, making it perfect for enjoying takeout while watching the sunset.
