We came in about a half hour before closing. Our server Tony went above and beyond to provide is exceptional service and make sure we didn't feel rushed. Great food and even better service. Been going here for a while but this time the place was much cleaner. And did I mention Tony?

We just got home from dinner and threw out the leftovers we brought home. The food was mediocre at best and neither one of us wanted to eat more. We had the pretzel appetizer, the pretzel bites were hard, the best part was the white cheese. We had tortilla soup and tomato basil, they were very good. I had the chicken dinner, chicken was not seasoned, potatoes were not seasoned, and for the side I got 2 stalks of cold asparagus. My husband had ribs, with a side of Mac and cheese. The ribs were fine but the sauce was over sweet and the Mac and cheese was dry.The restaurant's tag line is "Your new favorite restaurant", but for our first visit we were not impressed and will most likely not return.

Everything was great, the blackened mahi was very good and I don't leave reviews without facts, Black Rock Grille needs to remove that apple dessert with the oatmeal topping off the menu ASAP! I really wanted a refund but I ordered it so I took this disappointment on the chin. I love Black Rock and I will be back.

Not very impressed, very very smoky inside. Took extra long for our first drink, no extra napkins, our salads looked like it was made three days ago (very soggy lettuce) the condiments all coming out in plastic containers was kind of cheesy and at dinner they only brought out one baked potato ( that we shared) until they made more. My waitress finally brought mine when I was almost done. Took it home. The seat in our booth needed to be repaired (torn up) the place is just looking a little run down. Floor is slick also. We had not been there in over a year and will probably not be going back.Our steaks ( two sirloins) were very good tho. A couple of exhaust fans would certainly help with all of the smoke.

I waited a very long time to be served and then they still didn't bring me my drink. I chose to have the cook create my scallops for me and that was a mistake because they were about half done. My sweet potato was a big sweet potato with some marshmallows dumped on top with a torch. It was definitely not worth an extra $2 and a half dollars.
Great dinner, was fun to cook my own steak on the volcanic rock. Marie was a great server!
