The food was good, service was good, until the waitress sat down at our table to educate us on government taxes and tipping. To be fair, the bill was $160 and my husband only put $10 as a tip because we had planned to tip in cash when we left. We brought some friends with us and we had not planned to leave for a bit. It was so embarrassing and even when our friend said he was planning to tip in cash, she just kept talking. I am happy these were people that knew us well, but I have never had such treatment in a restaurant. One in which we visit regularly and never tip less than 20 percent. It really ruined what was supposed to be a celebration of a week well worked.

This is the pinnacle of the "biker bar" experience, if you like that sort of thing. Numerous motorcycle clubs are rocking their colors and everyone is getting along just fine. There is indoor dining but the fun is out back, where there is a covered bar/smoking section/bandstand/dance area. I've been here several times and it's always basically the same type of friendly group. They had a half slab of smoked ribs special last night with two side dishes for only $17! The band was great and played country and rock hits everyone knows. If you're a biker, you'll love this place!
Food was a little above average, server was ok. I grew up in semi rural Wisconsin so the atmosphere was exactly like how a bar should feel.

Look, i liked this place. Real back at home kind of feel. Played euchre with the local players that play every Wed, i forget the other days, but it was a lot of fun. It was good bar food as well.

This place welcomes bikers (bicycles and motorcycles). It was just a few blocks off of the North Central State trail. The owner Jim, bartender Jody, and the customers were super friendly. They love dogs.
Our beers were cold. We only wanted a little something to eat as we were biking. The 1/2 lb. of smelt was perfectly done and so tasty. Smelt is a rare find and was the perfect protein punch.
