This is our absolute favorite place for “family adventure day” breakfasts. If you’re looking for a totally happy and comforting home style breakfast- this is it!! We happily drive an hour north from Minocqua for the great comfort food and service.Sometimes if there is a huge crowd you might have to wait a while for breakfast but it’s worth it.Highly recommend the special pumpkin pancakes they make from scratch during the fall season.

Stopped in for breakfast with a group of 6. We tried omelets cakes skillets and biscuits and gravy all were very good. Love the small town feeling the cafe had. Worth the stop.

Food was great but service was lacking.It’s pretty sad that a waitress can’t even smile or say you’re welcome when spoken to. She didn’t even introduce herself when we were seated.We asked for plates to eat our appetizer on and she seemed like it was such an inconvenience for her to get them. I’m sorry but I don’t want to eat my scorching hot food off a napkin.Every question we asked was “yep”We will not be back here.Very poor service.The star is for the food, definitely not anything else.

Very relaxing and comforting diner, Our server was so kind, and heart warming with advice and great service. The food was 100% Amazing, everything cooked perfectly and compared to big name diners I prefer this one over them all example(Perkins) this place is amazing! I 100% Recomend the green apple boba tea as well!

First time ordering and we will be back! Had Fish fry which was cooked to perfection and authentic Beer Battered. Husband has the fried chicken it was crunchy on the out side and moist on the inside, he highly recommends!
Good down home meals and large portions. Servers are friendly and so are the locals. If you're staying in the area, this is definitely the place for breakfast.
