Ive only ordered there through Doordash and so far i haven't been impressed with anything we have tried except they do make GREAT Wonton soup! I ordered sweet n sour chick and steak kow and they put the chicken pieces in the same container as the steak kow so by the time i got it it was covered in gravy! And I've tried their Almond Chicken and from its appearance it looked perfect but the chicken was dry and chewy!
I used to go here as a 8-10 y/o, I'm 42 now. My dad worked at the Marathon on the corner. I was friends with the owners son (I believe it has changed hands since I was a kid). The food was really good I have nothing but fond memories of this place.
We have been ordering from Boon Kai for years. The food is always hot and fresh. The new owner is always upbeat and friendly. The value is fantastic. And you can't go wrong getting a carryout from here. Appreciate it!
