I had read the reviews for Lakeside Coney Island and decided to go there. But, when I got there, it wasn't the restaurant I'd thought it was. (Turns out, I was thinking of the Lakeview Bar & Grill.) But, I decided that, since the reviews were good and I was already there, I'd try it. And I'm glad I did. First, the servers were very nice and welcoming. It's cheap diner food, but it's the best cheap diner food in the area! You can't get a good hot meal for this price anywhere else. The staff is hardworking and always on top of refills. The food is consistent, never had a cold or burnt item there and my usual order tastes the same every time.

Awesome staff and owner tried all of the breakfasts and always good! They take pride with the food they serve and have a large following of return customers. Additional parking in the back. Reasonably prices won't be disappointed.
