I’m Japanese, and I always enjoy dining here because the food is reasonably priced and offers an authentic Japanese taste.
Everytime I visit there, I'm satisfied.
The other day, I gave the chef a preserved bonsai as a token of appreciation for all his kindness.

I eat at this restaurant every week for lunch. Been going there for almost 3 years and this place is amazing. the staff is super friendly and the food is great for a good price. The dinner and lunch entrees and ramen bowls are the best around the area.

Stopped in for first time while in the area. Googled it first to read reviews. We will not be coming back. The salads were very expensive and tasteless as the dressing was extremely watery and vinegary. Have had much better salads. On the positive side there was ample dark green lettuces, not just iceberg. Gyoza had to be fried as they would not escape request for steamed. Gyoza was nevertheless very tasty and well filled. Had three dishes rolls and tamega (don’t know if I am spelling right) was rubbery and flavorless. Sushi was ok. Big disappointment for us.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I have never been someone that likes ramen, but after visiting this afternoon I am convinced I just hadn’t had QUALITY ramen before! The steamed gyoza and miso soup for appetizers was perfect. I ordered the chicken katsu don and the miso ramen (with an extra order of noodles) and could not believe how good the food was. The restaurant has a very quiet atmosphere inside—a very private and intimate vibe. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Love love love this place, we’ve been regulars since the pandemic when they were only doing takeout. The sushi is always delicious, and even their cooked dishes are amazing, we love the grilled mackerel and chicken katsu, their ramens are the perfect dish during the Michigan winters. They are extremely family friendly, ever since we’ve had a toddler we hesitate going to restaurants because of how messy it can get but the staff here has been beyond friendly and make us feel at home. The owner, George is such a wonderful human being. Go eat here, you will not be disappointed!!

Why are the best sushi places always a little hole in the wall restaurant? I don't know but this place is the best. Try the octopus.

The rolls were tiny
I could fit a 6 PC fatty tuna roll in an altoids box and the California roll in a cigarette box. And it's not so bad that they were small but they weren't good. I've had better rolls at Habachi Buffet. My appetizer of 5 pieces of sashimi were brought out after everything...last. and they were nothing special and cost $14. The waitresses were more than polite, but when you order sashimi you shouldn't have to ask for chopsticks. I definitely rate this place under a Chinese buffet
