When I went to your website to see what you had on the menu, the price of the Brisket Melt Sandwich was $17. I ordered the Brisket Melt for lunch, which was very good, and when the bill came, the Brisket Sandwich was $23😳 For one, it’s not a couple dollars increase, it’s six dollars on a sandwich! I mentioned this to the waitress and she replied, I’m sorry the website is wrong and I deal with these same complaints every day. She apologized but didn’t offer to give me the price that was stated on their website. I felt that’s what she should have done. I’m sure it’s very frustrating for her to have to hear about the price differences every day. Why the management choose not to make the changes on their website is poor business. Get your website pages up to date, please.

I used to love this place but the food was terrible. Pulled pork sandwich was at least half fat. It was difficult to separate what meat there was from the fat. Came on a bun though I ordered it without one, which was not a big deal. $19 for a couple of bites of pork.

I used the online reservation platform. Although I needed to later revise the reservation, I found the communication and cooperation amazing. Their menu is great and the quality of food and preparation is beyond expected. I highly recommend this place year-round. I would recommend making reservations online, especially on the weekends!

Waited twenty minutes for a table which was fine the hostess set us down we were very excited about the restaurant and the food. Then we proceeded to set at our table for just shy of twenty minutes and nobody came to take our drink order or food order we just sat there thinking what a terrible situation. We are part of Bluegreen and seen many nice suggestions on the restaurant, we won’t be one of those. Good luck Scott Keefer

We had reservations on Friday for three people. When we arrived the restaurant was only 20% full. The hostess tried to sit us next to the kitchen even though there were plenty of seats available. We asked to be moved next to the window and were told their reservation system would not allow them to put us there. They had to fill the dining room from the back forward. They offered us a table next in the back next to a large bachelorette party. Shortly after being seated the girls started doing shots and screaming. Needless to say we got up and left. The hostesses were very rude and not accommodating as there was only one party seated next to the windows and you had plenty of much more desired open tables.

Our recent visit to Barrel Back indicated a noticeable decline compared to our positive experience in winter 2024. The atmosphere remains inviting, with pleasant views of Walloon Lake, which is certainly an appealing feature. However, the $21 burger lacked flavor and originality, and the pasta was similarly bland, making it difficult to justify the pricing for either dish. Service did not meet expectations; although a split check was requested at the beginning of the meal, the server was unable to accommodate this request and offered only a basic division of the bill. Given that both the food and service were underwhelming relative to the cost, Barrel Back will no longer be on our list when we visit.
