“We love this place and try to come a few times a year for special occasions. We went this past weekend for my dad's birthday and it was awesome! The $60 meal special allows you to try three dishes (appetizer/salad, entree, dessert). The drinks are always perfect. “Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the area, and showed me what was good on the menu, a trait that I wish every restaurant did. They have this pretzel that is big enough for 2 people to share, I'm talking about a foot wide pretzel. Fluffy and so good with the house chili. I personally got a reuben that was big and delicious. You could tell the food is fresh. Great prices as well.They have some "rare" drinks at the bar that would make the whiskey snob's mouth water. Overall a great place to stop by and ask the locals about good stuff in the area to do.”

“Drip coffee is a treat to me, especially when most vacation stops only serve espresso. A friend got the last of a pot, so I got the first of the next and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh! The cafe room is nice, but hard to imagine staying inside when the mid-October weather was so good by the lake...”

“A great cafe by the lake. We went here from brunch and had a lovely experience.Food: I ordered the Vienna pancakes and they were quite nice and delicious! Along with it ordered the no-jito and it was delicious as well. The pancakes were light and had this lovely butter on top with the pistachio and that was super yum. The fruits though were quite tasteless and didn’t quite add any flavour. The only drawback was the pricing, quite expensive for the amount and quality of food which they can probably work on!Service: Was nice and quick too!Ambience: Super nice especially if you like sitting by the lake and enjoying your meal!”

“This place is nothing short of amazing for several reasons…THE most amazing customer service and people, and the food! THE FOOD! I couldn’t decide between a few items and they prepared several things for me to try-and not only was it their idea in the first place, but it was a half hour before closing. And we all know how nice it is to get out of work! It was so thoughtful. Every single item was the favorite though, the excellent quality of the meats and cheeses, the freshest ingredients and the best bread! I just can’t say enough good about this place. It was the first time I went, but I will be back every time I’m in town. As I told them, 12/10.”

“The worst service ever! My 80 year old mom and I were told a 5 minute wait even though 4 tables were available. After 5 minutes, we were seated. A couple minutes later, a waitress finally comes by and says I'll be right back. We waited roughly another 10 minutes watching about 4 waitresses walk past us several times, all looking at us. We weren't even given water. Then another "rich" looking couple comes in and the same 3 tables are still empty that were when we came in. They took them right to the table next to us. A waitress immediately brought them their water and took their order. I said we've been waiting for a while. She just walked past. We got up and left. I will NEVER go there again. And trust me, I will spread the word. I have been there other times with other people when it was busy and wasn't treated like this.”

“These were some of the best tacos I have ever had!! The service was great and we didn't have to wait to long to get food. I got the crunch wrap with braised pork. The crispy cheese on the top was amazing! I will definitely try and stop in again.”

They make a sweetened laminated dough treat, which I cannot remember it's name. (Auirgny? ).. it is AMAZING!!!. The owners are so kind. Try this place!!!! “Tillie’s Tafel gourmet cinnamon roll is the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten! Not bragging, but I’ve eaten quite a few because I’m always in search of the perfect one. Their cinnamon roll edges are soft and fluffy… heavenly one might say… not hard/crunchy/crusty (aka gross). And, their icing is so good!!! Just do it. Get one. You know you want it! PS: We’re from Alabama, just happened to be driving through and stopped. After eating this I thought, “Would I move to Petoskey, MI just for a cinnamon roll?” and the answer is, yes. Luckily they ship. I shipped some to my MIL, she loved them, and I will be ordering some for Christmas.”

“BEST pretzel I may have ever had. I got a plain pretzel with nacho cheese and it was great! This is a cute little shop on the corner. There’s not a lot of lobby space, and no seating for dining in; however, they have benches outside that allow for space to sit and eat. The pretzel was still hot and had great texture and flavor.”

After crushing it at Snickerdoodlz with Frozen Yogurt, Charis and Suzanne have ventured even further into the frozen treat market with Dairy Zone Petoskey, offering both hand dipped and soft serve Ice Cream! So many flavors and combinations to be had, it's hard to pick a place to start! They also carry a wide selection of Boba tea variations if you're not looking for an ice cream treat! This is going to be one of the hottest spots this summer, don't do yourself dirty miss out!”

He was very nice and polite, he offered to buy us a sundae to try his new idea out. The Sundae was amazing and delicious, it was very creative. 5 stars will recommend and will be coming back.”

“Wow! What a great little market. Had an exceptional experience today. They went out of their way to hand cut some killer ribeye steaks for me. Walking through the store it's obvious they know good product's, from their canned tomatoes to crazy good peanuts. I also had one of the best sandwiches ever! This is one cool market!”
