The food, the service, the view were all spectacular. Edward our server, while new to Walloon, was not new to providing excellent service and that he did. The short ribs were super tender and juicy and some of the best we have ever had. They brought us knives, but they were totally unnecessary. They were offering a special too that made the whole meal very reasonable for the quality. It was our first time there but it won't be the last.
Ryan and Julie were wonderful to interact with during our evening. Thanks!!! A classic northern Michigan fantastic experience.
Wonderful dining experience. Josie was outstanding. The food delicious the ambience relaxing.
Amazing Service! we had a great birthday celebration. we enjoy fine dining and they did not disappoint.
Beautiful setting on the water and the food was absolutely delicious and very exceptional staff
Alway eat at Walloon Lake Inn when visiting Northern West Michigan. Top Food, Top Staff & beautiful view!
We were fortunate to have Josee as our server, as she was outstanding! The PEI oysters with watermelon remoulade and a spicy horseradish cocktail sauce was superb. Both the duck confit and whitefish were cooked to perfection. The wine list appears to be one of the best in the area, so there were many selections to choose from! Will return!
The manager was incredibly rude and our waitress was very dull. When I asked about the burnt edges of my miso glazed seabass, the manager just stated that it was caramelized. Having had this hundreds of times, this was the most burnt seabass that tasted smoky I have ever had. My broccolini also was charred at the tips.
Always a pleasure to stop in. Consistently excellent food and service. Cant beat the view as the sun goes down. Excellent preparation and offerings each time. The menu rotates regularly and it's always excellently done. Highly recommened.
My husband and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary and Ariel was our server. She couldn't have been more sweet and attentive! Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. I would only say the piano was a tad loud for conversation, but the pianist was excellent and contributed so much to the lovely ambience. This was our first visit to the Inn, but definitely not our last!

The salads and short rib dish never disappoint. Service with Nicole was wonderful. Thank you for another memorable evening!
We had an amazing time and dinner. We will be back for sure the next time we are in town. Everything was great.
Courtney are server was outstanding. The food ambiance and presentation was five star. Pricey but well deserved. Great group of staff. Works excellent together. No weak spots on any issue. Mike and Linda on our Anniversary
Brunch at the Walloon Lake Inn is always a special treat. The food, service, and view are perfect.
Easter brunch. We liked that it was not a buffet. Eggs Benedicts were great. Pancake and French toast had no garnishes and were not worth the price. They tasted good, but 1 large pancake or 6 half pieces of French toast with no side or garnish of fruit was disappointing. It was a nice relaxing meal.
