This is easily my new favorite Banh Mi place. The buns were toasted to perfection, the fillings are flavorful. The pickles have a nice crisp for freshness. And overall, it is a very solid well put together sandwich. The price is also fantastic. Five stars all the way.

88 Banh MI and Bowl is a hidden gem in a slightly obscure strip mall on Dequindre road in Warren. I ordered the Grilled Pork Banh Mi sandwich with the stir fry street corn and an Avocado Smoothie. The sandwich was full of fresh ingredients and was really tasty. The street corn was very flavorful and addictive. The Avocado Smoothie was perfect and not too sweet.
I want to this location to specifically get an iced coffee. I had the egg coffee and it was delicious. Probably the best coffee I've had since getting coffee in Vietnam. I also ordered 4 rolls. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I would definitely go back again.

It's great to have a Vietnamesplace that has offerings beyond usual pho and vermicelli bowls.We ordered the 88 Special and the Roasted Pork Belly bahnmi, Shrimp Toast, and the kumquat sugar cane juice. The staff also gave us a sample of steamed soy milk, warm and inviting.Loved the generous portion of meat in the Bahnmi. The pork belly was both tender/juicy and crunchy cracklin skin! Be sure to get the sandwiches toasted. The only negative thing i have to say is that the price is more than I'd like to pay for Bahnmi in this area.The shrimp toast has a nice toasted flavor.Sugar cane juice was perfectly not too sweet and refreshing.

$10 for the smallest sandwhiches known to man and I got their "Large". Overall flavor was average at best. I would rather take my money to Saigon market and get their Bahn Mi's for literally half the price. Save your money and go somewhere else.
The combination of great Banh Mi and friendly service keeps me coming back to this restaurant after working hours.
