I have had the Mac n cheese, string beans, and dressing.. They were very good, but I’m sitting here in their parking lot at a time they should be open, and they are closed. This is not the first time that has happened. I called their number and they say they are closed with no explanation of why. That’s so frustrating. Catfish w/ Mac and green beans and the ?& waffle. Everything tasted So good! Perfectly fried. Waffle’s sweet taste was a surprise. Nothing was over seasoned and it was piping hot. Prices are appropriate for the portions. There wasn’t a long exaggerated wait like other spots. Front counter lady is very nice on phone & in person. Restaurant always has a simple yet CLEAN look!
There are a lot of restaurants that use Uber Eats, Door Dash etc to deliver their food to the customer. A lot of times they don't care about the quality of the food they send.... Alanis Soul Food 8s the exception to that rule. I ordered Catfish, colored greens, baked beans and corn muffins.... and Turkey and Dressing with Green Beans....This food was STELLAR!!!! SO DANG GOOOOOOD!!! Thank you for the amazing meal. I will definitely be ordering from you, again.
