The smell of the place greets you as you drive in or by. It's enticing. And it, obviously, continues inside. Makes a body hungrier.
The interior is a step up from a fast-food place but the rest is the same: order at the counter, await your number to be called, served on plastic trays with plasticware.
The choices are as indicated on the awning: chicken, ribs & seafood. I had a 2 piece fish dinner which comes with a side h a roll.
I got my food a couple minutes later. There was no butter for the roll. The coleslaw was kind of bland. The fish was fine but nothing to drag me back. I'd be willing to try the chicken and potatoes on a second visit at sometime in the future as I heard a number of other customers make good comments about them.

Go to this location often & it's decent but when I picked up tonight's online order at 7:35, they had their doors locked with signs on both doors that said "drive-thru only." There was a customer inside eating.. and they close at 8pm. Then we had to wait in the drive-thru for my already made order... I order online so I don't have to sit in the drive-thru line. That was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely disappointing. After spending $60 in this restaurant I not only got someone else's order but the wrong order did not include enough food to feed my family. In this economic climate we can only afford to eat out once a week if we're lucky so my husband and I had to make sandwiches for dinner so the kids could have the chicken. I would've gone back to have the order corrected but at 7:30 they locked their doors and flipped the sign to closed so I didn't have that option. I have many years of food service experience so I know for a fact that it is not difficult to make sure that the right order goes to the right person and that all items are accounted for. I even asked the girl that handed me the order if she was sure a specific item was in the bag and she told me yes. The next time my family wants chicken on a Friday night, I won't be going to chicken shack. I'd be willing to bet this review will never reach the eyes of anyone in the company that cares about their customers experiences.

First time and last time I will ever go to a Chicken Shack. 19.00 and all you get is four pieces of sad looking Fried Chicken and a store-bought Hawaiian bun. Head over to KFC up the street for better food and cheaper prices if you don't want to be disappointed.

Do not eat here ROACHES until they shutdown and exterminate. I will be contact health inspector due to roaches. Restaurant is not clean.

I was recently dine at this restaurant on 8/20/24 and cashier was taking my order. I saw a roach crawling near there DoorDash dinners to be pick up. I let the cashier know that a roach was on the counter near the food behind her she than called another employee to kill the roach and still proceeded to take my order. After I left I called to speak with manager she stated they have a pest issue roaches and they been spraying to get rid of the problem but it has got worst and that the owner is aware of the issues. The manager didn’t offer anything. The fact that you know the roaches are bad in the building and you have employee working in there like that and still cooking food and serving to customers is insane.

Chicken dinner and broasted potatoes. Good service and food. Ordered with their app for pickup. Was ready at estimated time.

I love Chick Shack BUT the prices keep going up all the time so I've just been priced out. This is ridiculous! The Sobek family must need another vacation home I guess, but I won't be handing them my money any more.
