This is my first time eating at THIS location on Vandyke & 696... I first ate at The Crab House many years ago at their location on 7 Mile and Evergreen area and that was when the small crab leg dinners were $9.99 when they first opened up. I remember living in Clinton Township on 16 Mile road and Groesbeck and driving all the way to 7 Mile and Evergreen several times a month. The food was good at this location customer service was pretty good. My picture isn't the best picture because the lighting was terrible (sorry about that and my daughter tilted the bag and they rearranged the food and some of sauce spilled out. One daughter loves the eggs and my other daughter wanted a piece of chicken with her fried catfish) but it tasted really delicious. It was fresh and hot. The wait wasn't too long and you can also dine in. The dining area is fairly large and it was clean. I recommend this place and I will be returning.

My first visit and I enjoyed the customer service as well as the food. I was taken care of by Charles a.k.a. Chuck who took the time to prepare my meal in spite of the fact that they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. He was there prepping the Chili for the following day when he noticed me pulling on the door. I love Salmon so I ordered a dinner which included a garlic baked potato corn on the cob and a egg. I waited 15-20 minutes max and it was worth the wait. The Salmon was tender and well seasoned. Everything was good and I can't wait to go back! The reviews had me nervous but I'm glad I had my own experience.

Horrible just horrible. Spent $52 on a measly ribeye dinner. I wanted asparagus, they were out of course. So I chose broccoli,HOLD THE HUGE BLACK HAIR. WITH ME HAVING RED HAIR I was disgusted. A long black kinda curly hair just Marinated in my broccoli. Place needs to be shut down for a deep cleaning and a re-training. No quality at all dog food.

I ate here a few times and it's been decent. I was just about to place another order but I can't lie I just peeped not only is the company taxing for some cheap Kool-Aid BUT IF YOU WANT ICE/A COLD DRINK IT'S AN EXTRA $1??? I'm literally not placing an order now because that's the pettiest thing I have ever seen from a restaurant. Charging extra for a cold drink is wild and why is your drinks warm in the first place?...

I ordered the crab fries. They were made with what looked like Ore-Ida crinkled fries with a small amount of crab meat and cheese on top. For the price, I expected more. This location also needs a DEEP cleaning. It was filthy and didn’t look like it’d been cleaned in months.

The buy one get one free crab leg dinner was an amazing deal! Food was on point and the suicide drinks are a must have if you go here! I’m only giving 4 stars because customer service in the past hasn’t been that great and food wasn’t seasoned as well as 7mile location.. seems like they are getting things back in order! We will be back!

I ordered a large oxtail dinner and a medium crab and shrimp Alfredo garlic potato and 3 eggs... what I got was a oxtail and plane potato with 3 eggs in a container. I didn’t get my crab and shrimp added on my potato . I was told that I would have to wait 25 min for my order.. which I did, then I was informed that I would have to wait a hour. When I got home and found out that half my order was messed up I gave them a call to let them know that my dinner was ruined. The lady who I spoke to on the phone had a very unpleasant attitude and told me to bring my food back up to the restaurant. I don’t see how that would work especially with the food already being open and brought out of the restaurant during COVID. Not satisfied :/

Went to crab house on Vandyke and Warren MI an unfortunately Me and my sister crab bags were salty in was overpowered with minced garlic wasnt able to get a refund or anything so we decided to try out this place in Sterling Heights Michigan Called 168 Crab Cajun Seafood and Karaoke in when I tell yall they bags are half the price with big juicy crabs and amazing sauce I just had to write a review because baby this is the place to get a seafood boil bag. I usually dont write reviews but I just had to take time out my day to write this one. Hopefully they continue with the great bags.
