Delphine Jamaican Restaurant

Just had jerk chicken it was not fresh at all I’m so disappointed I’ll have to go back to my original spot in the city.🥲

I should’ve looked at the reviews over priced an just nasty no seasoning nothing please shut down the smaller container was 13 dollars for nothing an the 2nd 6 an was bigger than the 13 dollar meal

An oxtail dinner that cost me $28. Wayyy overpriced for lackluster taste and small serving. I’ll never come again. I sat and thought about writing this review because I hate the idea of giving a BOB bad reviews but… sigh. Don’t waste your money. I wish I had driven to Brightmoor Grille (Jamaican) in Detroit. Would’ve been worth it for this much and the food is SO much better.

I stopped going to Delphine‘s a few years ago because of the quality of food and the taste was not where it should be for a Caribbean restaurant. I decided to give them another try yesterday, hoping that things are changed. Well apparently not I ordered an oxtail dinner I paid good money for this and what I got was not oxtails I don’t appreciate that it was beef, but it was not oxtails oxtails have a bone. None of this head bone it was cut up in various sizes. The Cook did a good camouflage, but the taste gave it away. I will not be back. I also bought a curry chicken for a friend. I hope her meal was better than mine. Seeing how they substitute meat herself might have been curry pigeon.

My first time here...I got Jerk Salmon & Homemade Ginger Lemonade it wasn't gud...I spent ($32)I was disappointed with everything & I won't be returning because I could've went on the Westside to my favorite Jamaican Restaurant & go Jerk Chicken Rice Peas Cabbage Plantain which I could've ate on for 2 days that's how much food you get & it's gud with better tasting Ginger Lemonade

The Portions are small and the plates are a bit pricey but the food is good.

This was $13. Jerk salmon piece that took 20 minutes. Wasnt good and the fish was sitting in hot jerk sauce yet was lukewarm. Wouldn’t come back wouldn’t refer.

A beef patty is 3.19 I was charged 8.48 for two even if add taxes its still that high I walked out

I have been living here for the longest while and this is the worst Jamaican food I have ever tasted!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!! I was really trying to support my fellow Jamaican but I regret this decision. It is so expensive that the first thing and then you overlook the price and the food presentation is horrible no care taken. Then to top it off it taste HORRIBLE!!! This look like something I would mix up and give my dog back home. I will NEVER EVER EAT here again. This is sickening!!!!! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

The food isn't good my 3rd time trying years later and it's still not good I ordered snapper red pea soup and a curry chicken meal ....the red pea soup wasn't red pea soup .snapper was horrible the sides for the snapper are the beans and rice plate extremely dry and most likely made last week also 2 nasty plantains really .. i didn't even receive the large curry chicken i ordered.....a waste of money and time

Love this place. I've had various items from the menu including jerk chicken, oxtail, wings, and patties. Today i ordered the brown stew chicken lunch, and wow. So flavorful. Reminded me of brown stew chicken in Jamaica - which most places can't really do. Delphines is legit. I'll be ordering this plate again!

As a Jamaican, this was terrible. Not tasty: no flavor. Very small portion for such a wide box. Food needs more seasoning/salt. The soup is not rich in flavor. I hate to be that person to leave such a comment but do better.

The patty was basically empty. Where’s the meat ?
