Food was horrible! Boil was salty and the shrimp were not done. Taste like they poured the entire can of obey seasoning in the pan. Never been to a place where “Black Folks” can’t cook! Stay away!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!

Very impressed by a delicious ? dinner surprise! These were the best wings I've ever had! Taste just like bbq but made indoors and in a nice quaint environment. Broccoli and mac were great too. I really enjoyed this and look forward to frequenting this establishment ♥️

The food wasn't bad, just a tad bit salty. What really turned me off was I ordered a meal and it wasn't communicated that two of the items which were meat wasn't available before I paid. I get home and see they are missing so I call and the gentleman said they were out or it doesn't come with the meal anymore but that he gave me egg and corn and a larger mussel than what really comes with it ?. That was to make up for sausage and scallops. Where does that equate? I won't even start with he asked for cash, I gave him cash and he didn't have change so I had to cashapp it. Good food but just tighten up on the business and communication.

I ordered the wings and a salmon slider. The slider was alright, but The wings were so full of feathers and hair you could've made a wig. The restaurant was dirty and unorganized. That was first and last time there. I try to support black owned businesses, but I can't afford to buy bad food.

King is incredible! So is his business, Detroit Seafood Spot Bar & Grill. From the cooking, to the packaging (to-go, or catering style) and King's general mood, this place is a great. I was able to feed a group effortlessly; their meals were individually-packaged, in advance, for them to take home at the end of the night (perfect for a picnic/outdoor event). All items needed were included, down to the gloves. Will be recommending/going back!

Highly disappointed. I spent $124 dollars on food here. The crabs legs were small with no meat inside the sausage was terrible. The shrimps was not cooked the sauce the whole boil lacked flavor wish I could get my money back for sure!!
