Smoked beer awesome 👍
Excellent oat stouts. Great atmosphere.
Been coming here for nearly 20 years.
Always a warm environment with excellent beers. By far the best selection of beer styles in Metro Detroit.
One of the best
Great atmosphere beer, wine, and service! Favorite brewery!!
Great beer! Pretty chill environment. I'll be back!
Try the hot pepper ale called RING of FIRE. It won't kill 'ya. It has generous amounts of Jalepenos, Habaneros and Serranos but just the right amount so it's drinkable. The peppers hit the back of your throat and you think WOW...can I drink this? Then it kinda settles in and lightens up and you want another sip. It's one of the most interesting and memorable craft beers I've tried. We had some chips and dip with it on their very limited food menu on a Sunday afternoon. They had a sign on the wall saying they had chili but they said not until Tuesday. Not much to eat here or I would have given 5 stars instead of 4 because the beer is cleverly made. But I expected food from what I read online. The beer server said it was something to do with not being a Brewpub because they distribute their beer and that's a different license and besides their kitchen is small....she said.... as best I could catch as she was on the run. So take note of that if you come in hungry. We didn't get too much conversation with her since she was so busy but I will say she consistently poured a full topped off beer every time. She had that perfectly down.
My favorite brewery by far! Final Absolution is my favorite; but they have a new version with honey that I highly recommend!
Love this place. They always have a diverse selection of beers. I always find something good.
Great beer! Wonderful decor with swords, shields, flags, and armor.
Service was quick and friendly. Limited snack menu.

My favorite local brewery! Great selections with a huge variety. Of course, Final Absolution is a must try, but I also love Bishop Bob. Try them all!!
I've been coming to this brewery for over a decade and it's still my go to spot for craft beer. I love the atmosphere and the seasonal selections are always top notch. It's always good beer, good people, and good times.
A shame they have great beer but they can’t find a friendly bar staff.
Short girl with glasses needs to know when just to agree with the customer instead of having her nose stuck high. It wasn’t even anything serious.
On top of that they now have plastic growlers , beer does not come in plastic for a reason, they charge a premium for their beer just spend the extra dollar on a glass growler please, everywhere else does.
So easy to find yet I've driven by numerous times without seeing it. Maybe I should pay less attention to the road? (That would be stupid!)
It's a large, quiet, welcoming space that makes me think of pubs in England/Wales/Scotland (though I've never been. Yet)
Flights are five 6-ounce pours for $14. Way more brew than most offer on flights. But with a tap list this big, it's a really smart choice if you are uncertain.
The aforementioned list is broken down by national style as opposed to beer style in general. So an Imperial Stout is under American while an Oatmeal Stout is und English. Not exactly straightforward to newbies but to the cognescenti it makes perfect sense.
Few patrons are present on an early Saturday afternoon. Music plays quietly, not intruding into conversations.
The Dead Monk is terrific, the Breath of the Dragon is solid. Tried 7 total before departure. Looking to return, perhaps for the D & D game?
Great place to get some of the best craft beers around. They also carry wine and mead. Servers are very pleasant and attentive.
