Edita's Cakes custom cakes and pastries

Edita is phenomenal!

I began by having the pleasure of trying her gourmet cupcakes and cookies after a walk-in! Her pastries were so mouthwateringly delicious!!! Not only that, Edita was so kind and friendly!

From then, I just knew that I wanted her to bake the cake to celebrate my mother’s milestone birthday! I had a chance to meet with Edita, after setting up an appointment, to discuss my ideas and vision for the cake to go with the theme of the party!

Not only did Edita perfectly execute what I was hoping for, she exceeded it! She was extremely professional, thorough, and keen to understanding my requests. The flavors and texture of the cake were delightful. The cake was incredibly moist, flavorful, fresh and let me not forget to mention—BEAUTIFUL!

I will be back anytime I am craving something sweet to eat!

First time here. I was in the area and searched bakeriesLOL. There is a very small area with some sliced torts, a 4&6 pack of assorted cupcakes. I bought a variety. The icing on the cakes and cupcakes is almost like a whipped icing. It is very very light but goes so well with the cakes!! I have never had such moist cake. My mother did wedding cakes and I have to say the cake here is pretty amazing! I tried the lemon which was good, not too strong. Oh my the Hawaiian cake was soo good. Three different layers. Was like eating a piña colada! The almond mocha was my fav, no the Hawaiian…. Both! Almond had light flavoring but perfectly done. The chocolate mouse was good and again lightly chocolate flavored. Would I go back, yes I would. This cake is something you must experience. It is not a heavy cake and yet not a sponge cake. Sponge cake is not my favorite cake and this is such a wonderful combination in texture between a regular heavier baked cake and a moist sponge cake? I can not tell you how moist!!!

It looked like calling ahead for a number of one particular flavor cupcakes would perhaps be best as the cupcakes were already in boxes of mixed flavors? There were probably 7 cake flavors? Staff was pleasant, only one person working decorating a cake and working the counter.

I am sooo happy I found her! Great communication, she answered all my questions, fair price for what you actually get (I would pay more if I had to for that quality work). I also ordered my twins 1st bday cake and smash cake from her! I literally will not go anywhere else’s for cakes or pastries! Again could not be happier! Highly recommend!

To be honest and fair I'm putting out this review. Many of these reviewers forget this individual's lack of courtesy and politeness in beggining the , since COVID I've tried three time to get a cake from her on facebook. She's been rude on her terms (only online for consultation no open store hours post COVID) along side NOT setting the minimum number on her websight (which was returned with rude comments). She will delete people comments from Facebook not just mine but others along side pettly BLOCKING them which in my opinion is a red flag in most companies. She has great work I guess for the attitude which may stem from the lack of other workers in her staff

Service was fast and friendly. I ordered custom donuts for my son and they were a hit!! The cost was reasonable as well. I would definitely order from this bakery again.

I wanted to book a cake for my sons birthday. I reached out to edita cakes custom cake & pastries, two months ahead of time to get pricing and to at least do a deposit before my sons birthday and she sent an message saying she was on vacation from June 30th- august 8th. So based off my first and last experience I’ll pass.

Edita saved the day with an amazing birthday cake, custom-designed with huge creativity and flair, and absolutely awesome to eat. Would recommend to anyone in the Cambridge area as your first stop if you have a special event needing something a bit brilliant. ;-)

Edita makes fabulous custom theme cakes even without seeing a design. The butter cream icing is delicious and unmatched. We've had cake pops and cup cakes made as well and everything has always been delicious and turned out very well. Have to ensure you put in your request fairly early and follow up with her as you get closer to your event as the last time she accidentally forgot, but she still delivered as promised. Highly recommend.

Best carrot cake I have had in a long time. Went in for a slice of carrot cake and came out with lemon and carrot. I will probably have a taste test of all the cakes within this year now that I have found my go to place for the perfect cake.
