I would not recommend eating here as their fish is not fresh and gives off an odor. I’ve been eating sushi for the last 30 years and can tell you that this place is not safe to eat at. Also, they have terrible attitudes and are not friendly at all. I would recommend going to WOW sushi instead on Rochester Rd.

The sushi was decent, but the Las Vegas roll didn’t taste good at all. The place seems more like a takeout spot than somewhere you’d want to sit and dine. Great for a quick grab, but not for the experience.

I didn’t get a picture of my food, but I’m adding menu pictures. The food was very good and tasted authentic. Highly recommend!

First time getting any type of sushi from this place. It was okay. I got tempura roll and spicy tuna. I was not a fan of the tempura roll, but that's just me. The atmosphere is small done in no table service. You get your food in a Togo bag.. Price was a bit high for the quality of the product. If in a quick pinch then it's a okay spot.

I often order sushi from here, and so far, I haven’t found a better place! It’s super delicious! Highly recommend!

Sushi was tasty, fish was good quality (especially for Michigan) but the rolls were a little small.

Place really went downhill, haven't been here in a while but was one of my to go places for sushi if I was craving for sushi, quality of food used to be a banging 10/10! But now I give it a 0/10, the soy sauce is ridiculous salty

I’ve been going here for years and normally love it, but recently there’s been some changes and inconsistencies. Quality of ingredients has been lacking. The rice tastes different. Soy sauce is now given out in ridiculously small amounts, with varying brands. Whoever decided to give out the “kari-out co.” soy sauce needs to try it themself, because it tastes like lightly salted water. I’m disappointed in whatever changes the owner has made. It isn’t the J Sushi I have known for the past 4 years.

**I believe there has been a change in ownership. Unfortunately I will search for other establishments if the new owner cannot fix these issues.

Following the other reviews about this place was a huge mistake. I am a huge sushi connoisseur and this was one of the worst places I’ve dined at. It’s not a dine in restaurant. The service was super slow. Rice on my sushi was hard. Fish was slimy. Most of the rolls contain fake crab, gross. The dumplings in the wontons were basically just a noodle and the little bit of meat inside was questionable. Extremely disappointing.
