I want to sincerely thank the owner and staff at Kerby’s Koney Island in Warren for their kindness and compassion. Recently, before I had to say goodbye to my dog Kerby, I stopped in and met the owner — such a genuinely nice guy — who kindly took a moment to let us capture something truly special.
That moment — a simple photo of me, my son, Kerby, and one of their wonderful waiters — has become one of my most treasured memories. It’s a reminder of kindness, community, and how the smallest gestures can mean the world to someone going through something difficult.
A little backstory: I actually named my dog Kerby because he’s part dachshund, and I thought it’d be funny and fitting to name him after a hot dog — and after the best Koney Island around. (And yes, before anyone asks, I know there’s a Kirby vacuum cleaner. He wasn’t named after that, though he did inhale snacks pretty fast. And no, not the little pink video game character either — his name is proudly spelled K-E-R-B-Y.)

Went through drive thru. Ordered 2 coney dogs, 2 loose burgers and 2 rootbeers. Got charged for 2 rootbeer floats instead of rootbeers. They gave us 2 rootbeers. No refunds.

Delicious Coney Island's for $1.99 I have read reviews here about 99 cent Coney Island's, but that price is in the past. The price increased by more than double. And the $1.99 price is a Special Promotion.
Great overall. I ordered online. The food was ready 10 minutes later when I went to the drive thru. My favorite dish was the pancakes. They were cooked perfectly.
