My first time at this location. Food was just ok. It was 10amand they were already out of grits so I ordered pancakes and it seemed like they brought the syrup out 1 tbsp at a time. Had to keep asking for more. I find that the eastern market location is much better by far with regards to food, service, and atmosphere.
Super quick service. And very friendly staff. Lola & the others are great. Refilling drinks before asking, checking just enough. 👍🏼
My thought: If you put an item on your sign, it better be good. I'm starting with that. Corned beef & Swiss sandwich ($12) with slaw & side salad (deluxe, $5 additional). Need me some veggies.

The food was pretty average. Still enjoyable though. The four star rating is mainly from the service provided by the waitress. She was nice and helpful. Very southern like. I would come back solely for the pursuit getting the service she provided
