I would have liked there to have been some smoked sushi. They only had raw or tempura. We did not have hibachi. The sushi wasn't bad.Dietary restrictions: They did ask if we had dietary restrictions whrn we placed our order which is a plus.

The waitress couldn't remember what I ordered and barely came back. Then they add this automatic 20% service charge without mention anywhere. Just a horrible experience and taste. Will not go back.

Food was great. I tipped our cook cash $11 for 1 steak and chicken meal and a fried rice on the side. When given the bill there was a 20% service fee on our lunch. The sever saidThat she couldn’t remove this fee. I paid$25 in tip for out meal. Food was great but we should be informed of service fee. I will not return bc the practice seems like a scam. I informed the manager who said they get this complaint a lot and it’s at the bottom of the menu in small print. They don’t care.

Underwhelming.First time here, and I decided to try their sushi.Ordered 4 different one, just to be disappointed when they all tasted nearly identical, Bland, almost unappetizing.Cherry,on the top, was witnessing the host (curly hair, black suit) take out a few sushi out the boxes intended for carryout customers. Hide it away, and then like an animal, rapidly and hungrily devouring them, thinking no one would see that.If you are ordering carryout or delivery, consider the high chance one of the employees may as well steal the food you are paying for.Not recommend.Stay away.
We dined in for a Hibachi Birthday dinner and everything was delicious ? their portions and the shrimp were ginormous. We also ordered sushi ? at the grill, but I didn't try it this time but I will. Our waitress Felicia was very attentive and friendly even though it was super busy. I would definitely suggest making a reservation on their website if you have a party of 6 moreParking: Parking is located right next to the Kroger at Dequindre and 11 mile Road in the Universal Shopping Plaza.

We all asked for waters when we were seated and the waters didnt come until our server brought the bill. Also no one ever came to clear the table of soup/salad bowls and sushi plates so imagine how cluttered a habachi table was with a party of 9. We eventually had to go to the bar to order more drinks because again our server never came back to checked on anyone. I then went to speak to the manager about our horrible service and yet nothing was not done. We did not want any discounts, we just wanted the server to come serve us. Our server name was Phylisa. Our chef was AMAZING! But overall service was not acceptable. Just because gratuity is automatically included doesnt mean servers dont have to do they’re jobs. They’re plenty other better serving habachi restaurants in the area.

Came here in December to celebrate my birthday, knowing this place was relatively new. I LOVE hibachi and I'm so happy that this place did not disappoint! The service was timely, the chef was hilarious and entertaining, and the food was delicious. Can't wait to come back ?
