Just came to this restaurant and the service was excellent (rare, in this state, to be honest). Coming from Melbourne, Australia, where our Lebanese food is traditional and authentic, my standards are high. But Olive Paradise did not disappoint. Their main menu items are simple, and not overwhelming for the average American's palate, and I am looking forward to sampling more from their menu and personalising my future orders to match what I'm used to. Give this restaurant a try! It's a great option for Oakland University students, as it is literally across the street from campus and not at all expensive.

Solid good food, and plenty of it. Clean, comfortable-feeling place inside. I kept it basic and ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and a mixed shawarma meal with rice and crushed lentil soup. I wanted leftovers and I got them. Made 3.25 good meals out of $26. Owner (I'm assuming) was very nice, food served up quick and he threw in a dessert for me which made a good first impression even if that never happens again. Chicken shawarma sandwich was big. Almost a meal in itself and only $5. All white meat chicken wasn't dry like so many other places I've tried. Lots of garlic sauce. He asked if I was ok with tomatoes in the sandwich. I said yes to try it, but I didn't prefer it. Mix shawarma plate (beef and chicken) was HUGE. Takeout container was stuffed with rice, chicken, beef and bit of veggies. Came with side of garlic paste and tahini. Crushed lentil soup was more liquidy than I like but it tasted good. They also have seafood options and burgers and such for kids and anyone who might not want Lebanese food.

The hubs and I were out running errands and we happened across this lovely establishment for lunch. The interior is a wonderful mix of earthy, ornate tile work softened by personal touches. Very clean and the bathrooms are beautiful!Fadia was wonderful serving our table and making it an enjoyable experience, and the food was fresh and delicious! Makes me wish we lived closer but I know we'll be back all the same!Definitely reccomend and I'm sure the auto workers will be excited to have this place so close!

This is the only place that has the smoothest and best tasting hommous in Michigan and where you can get a shawarma sandwich for under $4. They are awesome and well worth the drive.
