Walked in yesterday at 7:15 PM to pick up my carry out order. Women was at back of restaurant on her phone. She never looked up. I waited 10 minutes. Only 2 tables in restaurant had 2 people each eating. Waitress looked up and went to kitchen. Finally, woman comes up and acts like I just walked in. Service is very slow. I ordered 1 combination and 1 quart of almond boneless chicken. Received 2 combinations. They seem to get orders right. There must be a better service restaurant in this area. You are taking your chances with getting what you want here plus very slow service.

Messed up my order, wouldn’t fix it when i called left me on hold and never picked up charged me for something I never ordered and when I called and asked for her to change the order to what I originally asked for or a refund there was never a response.
Waitress brought the order to our table and dropped the plates on the table and walked away. I will not return. Food was goodBad service. Did not appreciate having 3 customers.

2nd time here. Both times the waitress was very curt and not friendly AT ALL. The first time I ordered sweet and sour chicken,, looked amazing. Chicken pieces were hard, like the chicken was old. Today I got the almond chicken, tasted good, but was undercooked, so vatter was doughy. Both times the won ton was very tasty BUT was cold , both times. Rolls were good. This place could be the best around with some attention to detail and a little personality !

Truly a hidden gem!!! We have been looking for Authentic Chinese (& Almond Chicken with the good translucent gravy!!) We got so lucky bc they also have the big soft rolls so many others stopped carrying over the pandemic... And their dining room is OPEN!! Even the ambiance is great.. traditional Chinese decor & music. We will definitely be frequenting Ruby often for dine in & carry out!!

Worst Chinese food in town. I can't blame the ladies for trying. They're attempting to run a business. But please do not go. It's tastes old and nothing tastes legitimate. Soup tastes old. Worst eggroll I've ever eaten. Cups and silverware all dirty.
Excellent won ton soup. Egg rolls are good, but the filling needs work. I like that you can make your own combination plate. I recommend the sweet and sour pork, almond boneless chicken, chicken egg foo young, and fried shrimp. The fried rice that comes with the combo is very good. Plenty of veggies and cubed chicken in perfectly cooked fluffy rice. Almond cookies and fortune cookies for dessert. Hot tea is nice and fresh. Waitstaff is friendly, quick and very helpful. Highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables available that would accommodate wheelchairs.
I made it a point to take 24 hours to leave this review so that I wouldn't say things I didn't mean because I was posting in anger.After my family and I have been eating at this restaurant for decades, we're done and will not ever be returning to this restaurant.Yesterday afternoon (1.20.2024), on top of all 3 water glasses that were brought to our table being absolutely filthy, and all 3 still having lip marks on them from the people who previously used them (we were waiting to send them back but weren't there long enough for that to happen), the awful treatment we saw from a Ruby's waitress to an elderly customer who was obviously suffering from dementia/alzheimers, was more than we could stand. We grabbed our coats and helped this elderly lady into her daughter's car, which was already waiting outside, and we will never return.This waitress, who's a bit later in her years as well, and one who is unfortunately typically rude (we still dined there due to good food, we just always cringed when we ended up with this waitress), was verbally abusive to this elderly lady, was shaking her pointed finger just a couple inches from the lady's face, and telling her to never come back. All because the customer was telling the waitress that she never brought her the tea she asked for, and because she couldn't figure out where to sign her receipt. We were on the complete other side of the dining room and could easily hear and see the whole interaction.This was a shameful display for any business, but one that was especially upsetting because it was so blatantly obvious that this elderly customer needed special care and attention, not the complete opposite, and not from someone who comes from a culture where the elderly are typically so loved, respected, and revered.
