Detroit Original Chicken Shack Headquarters

Ordered my food from here tonight… I ordered it well done… it wasn’t fully cooked. The chicken was rubbery and pink. The skin was soggy and falling off the chicken by the time we got home. My family all complained that the food was poorly made. The potatoes were oily and we all had a piece of chicken and a serving of potatoes and threw out an entire FIFTY DOLLAR MEAL. Never again chicken shack. You continue to be inconsistent. One day the food is made to perfection the next day you can tell the people barely wanted to cook it. I called and spoke with the manager ANDY that offered to replace but in order to do so he has to get the food back that we threw out because it was under cooked and poorly made. You can tell by his tone that the staff under him are a poor reflection of his management. We don’t live close enough to return and I’m not keeping food overnight to show that it’s not properly made. The place wasn’t busy tonight, it was my car and one other car. What’s the excuse?

All I usually get here is the Ribs and Broasted Potatoes. Iv'e had Fish here also, but the ribs are too good to pass up.

My husband and I were celebrating our 21st anniversary and we wanted to finish the day off with a good meal. We decided that we wanted Chicken shack ribs, what a mistake that was. We spent $40 on these dry and cold and overcooked ribs . Onion rings were over cooked too. I won't be going back to Chicken shack, they have always been overpriced anyhow.

Food used too really be good but now dont know what's going on rolls were old overcooking meals and kinda pricey for the snacks when you don't get much....slow down them cooks in there and start checking for old food...
