I am a big Thai fan and started ordering from them consistently for about a year because the food was very tasty. Over the summer I ordered a fish dish that came with peppers. The peppers were undercooked and crunchy. I called and let them know and the woman acted like she didn't believe me and proceeded to tell me that they were cooked for 8 minutes. As if I don't what crunchy is. I've had this dish from them before and the vegetables were cooked through like they should be. She offered a measly $2 off on my next meal. If you don't believe your customer that means all you care about is the money and not what a customer genuinely experiences. No thanks. I haven't been back in months and won't be. I go to another Thai restaurant not far from them and when I said I had an issue with the order they gave me a whole new dish for free. That's how you treat your customers.

Great lunch spot away from the craziness of Van Dyke. Green Curry was good. Mild Plus was about the expected heat level, not too hot or mild. It did take us 45 minutes to get our food with only one person taking orders, running orders, take out, and cashing out all while during peak lunch hour. Will go back again.

Spices were unpredictable and the “customer service” was barely above basic decency. I would only recommend if amarin cuisine was closed! :)

This was a very pleasant experience at Som Jai Thai in Warren! I visited the restaurant mid day Saturday and to my surprise it was very peaceful and quiet in the restaurant. The decor and soft music added to the great atmosphere! Som Jai Thai provided the best spring roll I’ve ever had! The Pad Thai was delicious I went for the medium spice level and it was just enough to have my nose running but not too hot that I was drinking three glasses of water! The waitress was very kind and stayed busy working up front while also promptly serving me as needed. I am providing a few photos of my experience to show how great the food and atmosphere was! Thank you Som Jai Thai for this awesome experience I’ll definitely be back!
