Since the original lady been out the food quality has dropped badly even less crab rangoons you normally get a nice amount much less than normal and recipe as changed also hope she returns soon

The reviews of this place were pretty high so thought I’d give it a try tonight. I can’t fathom the 4.3 rating. The lo mein (pictured) was borderline inedible—gas station ramen with celery as the main accoutrement? The duck/sweet n sour sauce for the egg rolls was genuinely the consistency water with about the flavor levels of water too. High in food coloring, dash of sugar, and I think that’s it. Chicken was cooked and plain white rice was the best part. That’s all I got for positives.
Also, be sure to call and ask or go in person for prices because the linked menu on google is NOT accurate. Not holding that against them in the rating, that’s based purely on my opinion of the food, but prices are not as inexpensive as seen on the trip advisor menu from who knows when which made the quality of the food even more problematic.

I’m used to the food being full of flavor it was bland. I noticed when I called in it was not the same lady and when I seen a different lady there I knew it would be different. And it was. Nothing tasted or looked the same. Gravy was light. Sesame chicken was not dark red. Gravy is usually on the egg foo young.Fried Rice bland. Egg roll cold

I've been going to Soon Lee for several years now. It is absolutely the best. The owners are kind and happy people, and make my day every time I come to buy food. It is take out only now, but it's the best. I cannot recommend any place more than here.
Food was over $45 just to be thrown away. The sweet and sour chicken sauce was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like it marinated in an unwashed pot full of mold and chemicals. The fried rice was really good but barely got to eat any of it because the sauce was all over the fried rice. The eggrolls were atrocious. Not fresh ingredients used in those. Also the crab rangoons were nasty. Took one bite and threw out the entire thing, huge chunks of fishy crab and too much raw onion in it, never had crab Rangoon taste like that before, was served with that foul sweet and sour sauce. The general tso chicken was actually good, too many vegetables in it though and not enough chicken. Wait time was told it would be 15 mins it took 40.

Pretty good, probably would have been better if I ate it fresh but I had a 15 minute drive home. The breading on the sweet n sour chicken was really good, crunchy and the chicken wasn't chewy like it is at some places. Rice was a little mushy but still good and could have also been from sitting in the carryout box closed for so long Also a very good portion for the price.
