This Coney Island I must say is THEE BEST!!! we order from work & our food is ALWAYS ALWAYS FRESH, prepared well, nice portion & The staff is absolutely AMAZING! RACHELLE you are a Jewel, a jack of ALL trades, loyal & takes pride in what she does. No matter what time it is she is always upbeat, joyful on the phone & she not only takes orders, she delivers as well. SUNRISE I HOPE THAT YOU VALUE & APPRECIATE associates like Rachelle.

Overcharged me for my Mexican omelette and then automatically added tip to my carryout. Food is mediocre. No need to ever go back again.

Had lunch today. Waitress was amazing and service was fantastic. Highly recommend. Lots of parking and prices are very reasonable.

Sunrise is a coney island with a decent selection of food items. The staff are polite and the food is always good. Never had a bad experience. One thing of note is the restaurant closes for the month of July each year, so plan accordingly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast or lunch!

Waited over 10 minutes after being seated for water. Then another 10 minutes for waitress to take our order, she never came. Finally, we just left. There were only two other customers in the restaurant, 3 waitresses, they weren't busy with anything except talking amongst themselves.

Reply to owner response: After 7 years the owner responded to my review doubting my experience. I said there were only two other sets of customers in the restaurant, not that we were the only two customers (as stated above). If you notice my overall reviews, you'll find that I'm big on lifting businesses up and typically post only good reviews. You've got to be pretty bad for me to post negatively. It was in poor manner to insinuate I lied about my experience instead of apologizing. If their response doesn't tell you all you need to know about this place I don't know what will. It's been over 7 years and I'll tell anyone I know not to go to this establishment. I'll be adding the rude response to my review to my cautionary tale. I own a business and would never reply publicly or privately to my customers like this. Bad PR.

First time visiting. Walked in 30 minutes before closing, and the staff was still very welcoming. I ordered the county skillet. Best breakfast meal I've had from a restaurant in a long time.

Illegal fees, Told cashier that no service charge is allowed on debit cards, per federal law, Dodd frank amendments. She proceeded to charge me 3 percent fee, and another 10 percent fee for service. Reported complaint on visa.com to reverse all charges and allow them to assess $1000.00 fine, for each issue. No service fee notice on the entrance door, incorrect wording on the cash register, since there is nothing about the debit card, and an undisclosed surprise fee of 10 percent charge.

Response to reply. Ask Google.

No, surcharging debit cards is not allowed in the United States. Major card brands like Visa and Mastercard prohibit surcharging debit card transactions. This rule applies to all US merchants, regardless of whether the card is run as a debit card or a credit card transaction
