Dear sweet dreams, I hope this can be a constructive criticism for you. We loved your cakes and pastry products, we've been a loyal customer since 2010, started in Orchard Lake then we start buying the cakes in Warren because it's closer from work. We loved how moist your cake and rich in buttercream but yet not too sweet. Unfortunately the quality has gone down based on our purchase last week. First, it was packaged poorly so it smush when it was delivered to home. Second, we bought our fave cake, black forest and this time the cherry jam smells and taste sour so we have to scrape it off from the cake and we quite disappointed with that because the cherry jam is the key that makes your black forest different than other bakery. This forced us to look for different bakery for the next time we have birthday or special event. Again don't take this personally, we just hope you can take this feedback for your improvement.

Ordered a gluten free cake for pickup on 10/26 for a noon pickup for my nieces birthday party that started at 1pm. Arrived to pickup and the cake and it was never made. The bakery then offered to deliver it to me by 2pm. At 2:30pm, still no cake. I called the bakery and they stated the cake was ready but they were “looking for the keys to the van”. It’s now 3:40pm and still no cake. Called again, was told no one was there to help me. I will never order from here again. So disappointing!

I got a cake yesterday and it was great as always. I walked in and one of the cashiers greeted me while looking at her phone. I wasn’t sure if she was talking to me or was on the phone. I hate to leave a bad review, but the service could be better and asked me if I knew what I wanted when I had just walked in before even getting to the cakes. I’ve had better experiences here. Just food for thought .

My kiddos birthday cake was perfect! I didn’t have very many instructions on how I wanted it to look, and they went above and beyond to make it very cute. The staff was kind and professional and we’ll be back for our next party!

I stopped in for a cake on a Monday afternoon for a birthday cake without an order and they were well prepared. The service and the white cake were both excellent. The outside of the building could use some work but I don't really care about that. Sweet Dreams is convenient and above average in cake excellence. I will back and would recommend.

I got a cake (fed about 10-12 adults) that cost $100 and two smash cakes that were $40 for a total of $140 for my twins first birthday. The cakes looked good (put my own topper on the main cake) but I did not like the way they tasted and was disappointed. I got vanilla cakes with buttercream frosting and Bavarian cream. The frosting tasted more like whipped frosting and i even tasted lemon in the cake (I do not like lemon desserts). The cream wasn't anything too good either. I felt I paid too much for the taste of these cakes.

I have been getting cakes for parties at my restaurant from this Place for about 6 years now. I recently found out that they do custom cake orders. They went above and beyond with this beauty. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. 10/10 would Recommend getting your cakes from this amazing bakery.

I just want to extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the team over at Sweet Dreams for meeting and exceeding our expectations for a Wedding Cake we ordered on 7-6-24. This was perhaps the most clutch move on behalf of any business ive ever needed in my life, as I needed a wedding cake made in ONE (1) week time frame....and not only were they able to accomidate us, the cake turned out great, some even saying the BEST they've ever had. Thank you Sweet Dreams for making our Wedding dream come true, you guys truly were the 'Icing on the cake' for our greatest day together ?

With my daughter's baby shower coming up in a month and a half, we're looking into dessert tray options. Sweet Dreams bite size pastries have been brought into my work place on multiple occasions and were always top-notch, so it was the first place that came to mind. I walked in yesterday to inquire (the door makes noise when entering) only see two employees standing with their backs to the counter. It appeared they were filling out an order possibly, but neither looked up or acknowledged my presence. Figuring they would notice me in a minute or so, I walked over to the bite size case to view my options. They were just as beautiful as I remembered and was looking forward to discussing what size trays they offered, pricing, etc. A male employee came out from the kitchen, looked right at me, said nothing, and walked to where the 2 women were standing, joining in their conversation. I waited a couple more minutes before walking towards the door when suddenly one looked up and smiled. I told her what had just happened and was told that they never heard me. I left disappointed because now I'll have to rely on other people's recommendations. Quality 5 stars, service -1 star

Get their cakes and such but I do NOT recommend getting your wedding cakes done by them.
My family has come to sweet dreams for their pastries and cakes for over 20years. It’s actually become a tradition for my siblings to get our wedding cakes from here! Every wedding cake that my siblings got were elegant and beautiful…..until my wedding. I was extremely excited to get my cake and then was immediately and extremely disappointed. I came in for a consultation and was told that what I had wanted was easy to do and could be done. Thankfully I picked up my cake the day before my wedding because to my surprise and in UTTER SHOCK, what I was seeing was NOTHING like what I was promised. Talking on the phone with the staff because the manager for some reason didn’t want to speak to me directly, which I thought was quite unprofessional since I was paying for their services, told me I couldn’t get a discount or anything because it was just the whipping cream that was the issue. To me, it wasn’t just the issue. The issue was promising me something that couldn’t be done and then looking at the cake and thinking that it would suitable for a wedding. I had them remove everything and make the whipping smooth over so that I could get the cake decorated by someone else. Thankfully, my niece is a brilliant florist and she made it beautiful.
