This was my first time purchasing a custom order cake from a bakery. I had very high expectations for this bakery and experience from their reviews. Unfortunately, I ended up so disappointed. I ordered a cake for my son's 10th birthday which I asked for a picture to be added. The frosting was terrible not even edible. It had a very artificial greasy taste wasn't even sweet. The picture part of the cake was completely hard and thick not edible like I thought. I was so terribly disappointed that I let my son down with this awful cake on his birthday. I refuse to let him or anyone at his party to eat it because it tasted so bad I thought it had to be something wrong with it and I didn't want to make anyone sick. I wouldn't recommend this bakery to anyone. I regret wasting my money on someone we couldn't even use.

Angela is sweeter than the treats!! When my husband and I ordered our wedding cake in 2023, we didnt realize just how much it means to us coming back every year for our anniversary cake! We get to re-live the excitement of our wedding day each year with Sweet Dreams Bakery. Not to mention having an excuse to come back for the canolis, brownies, and baklava!!

I have been ordering from this bakery for years and I love their cake flavors. But the cake i got for my daughter last weekend had buttercream icing that was very bitter. I ordered the cupcakes with the same coloring and they didn't have any bitterness. The representative told me the the darker colors will have bitterness taste and they cant do anything about it. I have never experienced anything like this from any bakery. Please be cautious when you order from here. Looks like recently the quality went down.

Sweet Dreams Bakery did a wonderful job on our heart-shaped wedding cake. It was a white cake with strawberry mousse, fresh strawberries, and buttercream frosting — beautifully made and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend them for any special occasion.

The bake goods were not tasty to me personally (cupcake was cold and icing didn’t have a taste) but the ladies who work there are all so sweet and nice and helpful, scenery was great clean bakery and nice and clean bathrooms.

This is my favorite bakery in Michigan. The building is huge, & the selection is just as impressive. The employees are always very polite & helpful but don't hover. It's nice that they let you browse until you make your choices without making you feel rushed. I've loved everything I've ever tried. Today's picks were a White Chocolate Cascade (the big one layered with chocolate chiffon cake & white chocolate mousse), a mini White Alaska (vanilla chiffon cake & white chocolate mousse), & a mini chocolate cannoli. They were all delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
